Chapter 1

Its finally spring, a time of year to represent a new beginning, new life. Fiorella took a breath of the fresh morning air as she walked to school. Flowerbuds appearing, dewdrops drizzeled on lawns, and the liveliness of the early morning awaking gives Fiorella a sense of happiness within her. Fiorella wore a light pink, strapless spring dress. The dress had white lace at the ends and a white belt around the waist. She wore white toms, with her hair down, wavy and a light pink flower above her ear. Fiorella had olive tan skin, hazel eyes, and light brown hair that reached her waist. Her face was often compaired to a doll for her large eyes, small buttoned nose, and round rosy lips. She wasn't all that thrilled to be going to school after a short spring break but she didn't mind showing off her new spring outfits. Fiorella sat down at her seat in english, she sat in the back with her only friend in the class, Tristen. Tristen was a thin, asianwhite mix, her eyes were almond shaped and light brown, her nose looked like carey mulligan's, and she had a very beautiful smile. Her hair was long, black and striaght. She wore a hoodie and shorts with converse. Tristen turned to Fiorella and happily started telling her about how amazing her spring break was, explaining how clear the waters were in the bahamas and how cute the boys were. Fiorella stayed home most of spring break, except for the weekend her and her family drove down to Florida, but they do that every year. Tristen was a great friend to Fiorella they always had eachothers backs. As the lesson started, the class was still chaotic with the excitement of spring break until they had to hand in the homework none of them did. The class finished up with a chapter of Julius Caesar. She sat down in Spanish, ignored everything her teacher said and put in her headphones. Fiorella spent most of her day like this, ignoring the world, rather than dealing with it. Fiorella's past caused her to loose many friends and be somewhat of a loner, even though she was sweet and never caused difficulties no one liked her really. She sat down at lunch with classmates that she talked to occaissionally, and then scurried to indepenant art. She loved Art it was the only class where she could express herself. Fiorella would just draw and paint with no recollection of the time that would go by. She sat down at her table and started sketching as Carrie, her friend, came by. For some reason they've been friends for so long but always argued and never seemed to get along well. Carrie sat down and looked at Fiorella's sketches.
Carrie: "Wow they look nice"
Fiorella:"Thanks"
Carrie:"So, i've been meaning to tell you about my boyfriend"
Fiorella:"What about him now?" she said slightly annoyed.
Carrie:"Well he got me these new gold earrings, they're so perfect, his mom lets him buy what ever he wants for me because she loves me soo much. Its great to have such a great boyfriend with a wonderful family too. Too bad most boyfriends you had never loved you the way they love me huh?"
Fiorella:"Yeah so sad." she said bluntly
Carrie:"Yeah it kinda sucks doesn't it"
Fiorella:"Mhmmm." Fiorella knew that Carrie only started acting this way when feeling threatened by something Fiorella does better, for example art, Fiorella simply shrugs it off. Carrie was an italianspaniard mix. She looked more on the spanish side though. She was thin with a big smile but eyes that reflected a firey core. Being a gymnyst Carrie was every fit and would tend to rub it in Fiorella's face almost everyday, but since they've known each other for so long Fiorella shrugs off everything, knowing better than to deal with the annoyance coming from Carrie's mouth. During art Fiorella ignores Carries rude remarks and continues working on her project untill her teacher announces a new student. Fiorella looks up to look at him. She was never so hypnotized in her life.
