Dark Side
Chapter Two, LucysPOV
I was woken up by the rays of sunlight in my face. I turned
to face my wall and just laid there..until I heard noise from
downstairs. I got up and checked the time on my alarm clock, it was
8:35 am...on a SATURDAY?! And once I am up..I am up for the rest
for the day. I jogged down the stairs to see my older brother
Cory watching re-runs of our favorite show, Big Brother. "Hey
Luce-Juice!" He beamed. I gave him a death stare as I walked
into the kitchen and poured my self a small glass of apple juice.
He gave me that nickname when I was 3 ..and it stuck forever, and i
hate it! "What season is this?" I asked pointing towords
the TV. "Twelve." He said keeping his eyes on the TV. I
sat down next to him on our L shaped couch and wondered why
he was watching a season that was about 2 years old..but it
didn't matter, it is my favorite season.

After watching about 3 long episodes of Big Brother, I got up to go
change my clothes. I walked up the stairs and into my big pink
room. I looked out the window to see if anyone was outside my
house..because sometimes weirdos from school think it's cool to
watch me get undressed and dressed. But..I did see one thing. It
was..that guy. Lucy think, his name, what was it? I shut my eyes
real tight and tried to remember. Nate! He was skateboarding down
the side-walk. I needed to catch up with him! I quickly threw on a
new bra and a Nicki Minaj t-shirt Cory bought for me, a new pair of
underwear and some white shorts. My hair was still up in a messy
bun from this morning, but I didnt care. I slipped into my flip
flops and ran down the stairs, almost falling. "Woah, Lucy,
where are you going!?" Cory questioned. "Out!!" I
said quickly and flew out the front door running down the side walk
looking for Nate. "Lucy?!" Someone called.
"Huh?!" I said spinning around in a stupid little circle
looking for the person. "Hey" the voice said, no it
wasn't a voice..it was his voice. "Oh, Hi!"
I said sounding surpirsed because he just kind of showed up right
next to me. "Who were you running after?" He asked
sitting down on our front lawn. "You." I responded,
sitting with him. "Me? Why me?" he said surprised.
"Well, I saw you skateboarding..and, well..I dont know."
I admitted. He nodded slowly. "You skateboard, I guess?"
I said. Stupid question, Lucy youre so damn retarded! He chuckled,
"Yeah, gets my mind of my problems." Problems?! How could
he have problems, he's too hot to have problems.
Then I thought of that music video I saw this summer called
"Hot Problems", so apparently hot people do have
problems. I have problems too, so it makes sense..well except for
the hot part..well I dunno. "What problems? If you don't
mind me asking.." I said facing to him. "I um, I was in a
car accident a few months ago and it messed up my brain alot..and
to make that even better I was diagnosed with dylexia when I was
10.." He said sounding kind of relived. Like, he had been
dying to get that out. "REALLY?!" I said way way too
loud. I was just a bit surprised.. "Yeah..why?" he said
tilting his head a bit confused. "Oh..it's just.." I
started. Lucy Castagnola! You barely know this boy, do not tell him
your problems! "My brother, is dyslexic." I lied.
"Oh, okay..cool." He said maybe understanding where I was
coming from and how I understood it a bit. But no just a bit, the
whole thing. "Well Lucy..I'll see you Monday?" He
said getting up. "Or..you can come over to my house.." I
said with a smile. "Really?" he said a bit surprised.
"Yeah, totally!" I said. He flashed me his perfect smile
and we head inot my house. This was going to be a good day.
A/N: Yesss...hello beautfiul!! (: This was sort of a filler
chapter..but It leads to a turn of events,,so yeah, and I wasnt
sure if it was long or short..oh well.! :P 5 or more faves and I
