Well, I
didn't see that coming. My heart just shattered even more. I
finally had no hope left in me whatsoever.
I stand up. "I've got to go." I say to Jackson,
running away.
I couldn't help it, tears came spilling down my face. I was
hoping when I got back, Jackson would be the guy that I could
look foward to comforting me, and we'd get back together. But
no, he loves Roxie. Nine f/cking months, and he is over me? I
must've meant NOTHING to him.
I go home, and shut myself in my room, where my Mom comes to
comfort me.
"Maybe he didn't mean it, hunny. You don't need to
be under stress, you've been under enough. How about you go
see Amber?" My mom suggests.
I call Amber, and she said she just left the party with
James.
I head over to her house. All night James, Amber, and I watch
movies and eat junk food.
I had an amazing time.
But that doesn't mean Jackson ever left my mind.
Jackson's POV
I couldn't help about think about how Scarlett ran away,
after I said I loved Roxie.
I don't love Roxie, in fact, i have no clue why I even said
that.
I thought I started to actually like Roxie, but seeing Scarlett
made me realize my love for her all over again. People said there
is no such thing as young love, but me and Scarlett started
dating when we were 12, and broke up when we were 14, and then
she gone. Taken away from me, just like that. I cried every
night. Literally every night, even before I came to this party, I
cried. Then I saw her, I never thought I'd see her again. I
thought she was dead. All I wanted to do was kiss her and tell
her I miss and love her. But I'm dating Roxie, and I'm no
cheater. I wouldn't even cheat on Roxie.
"What are you doing out here, babe?" Roxie says,
walking out the door.
"Just needed some fresh air." I say, rubbing my
temples.
"I bet it was pretty crazy seeing Scarlett again, but you
need to forget about her!" Roxie exclaims.
Is Roxie crazy? "FORGET ABOUT HER?! Roxie, I dated Scar for
2 years and some odd months. Then we broke up over a dumb little
fight, and she was gone the next day. For nine months! How the
f/ck do I forget about her?"
"Have s/x with me." Roxie says, kissing my
neck.
