Forgive Me. FIVE
I wake up to an annoying beeping,
and sit up. I'm in a hospital bed. I look around, not
remembering what happened or how I got here. I rub my head,
there's a huge bump. A nurse comes in my room before I
can even say anything, or even take another breath. "Good,
you're awake." She smiles. "Take this." She
hands me a small pill, and a Dixie cup full of water. I swallow
it, and it's like the throbbing in my head all just goes
away. The pain is worse than anything, and yet, I still can't
remember why I'm here.
"Excuse me," I say to the nurse before she leaves.
"Why am I in here? What happened?" I look around the
room, there's no evidence why I'm here. I see my phone on
a side table, but that's about it.
"You were hit by a drunk driver." She looks down.
"The driver of the other car died of blood loss, you
survived because some nice man helped resusitate you. His name
was, um, Radley?" She sighs, and leaves the room. It comes
back to me slowly. I was happy, and I can't remember why. And
the next thing I remember was a distinct smell of cologne. It
smelled so good. I laugh to myself, before I hear a knock at the
door.
It's a tall man, looking about my age, eighteen. He smells
exactly like the smell at the accident. The boy with the odd
name. He has peircing blue eyes, and dark brown hair. It's
short, making his facial features stick out. He has a perfectly
squared jaw bone, he seems so familiar.
"Hey," He smiles, his voice deep, and comforting.
"Glad to see you're okay."
"Uh," I speak, my voice sounding scratchy and tired.
"Not to be rude or anything, but who are
you?"
"You mean, you don't remember me?" His face flushes
of all it's color, and his smile turns into a frown. I look
at him, until he comes closer to me, his hands get the strands of
my bright red hair out of my face, and he kisses my cheek.

Woooh! Ahaha, well, I thought this was an interesting chapter. I
liked it, a lot. I can picture it all in my head like a movie,
can you? I love all my readers to Pluto and back, and don't
