**Chapter 14** Part 2 (READ PART 1 FIRST!)
 

 

“Long time, no talk” she greets my call.
“Hey girl, I know I’m sorry, but you’re the only friend I have left”
“What? I thought you had that chick, Ashley?”
“Yeah well you know the bad girl rep that I am and have”
“She didn’t like you?”

“Not one bit… especially when she found my pack of smokes”
“Ahh I see”
“If I buy you a plane ticket will you please transfer?”

“I wish, chica! I would if you’d convince mi padres?”
“Put your mom on the phone”
“Okay here she is”

“Hello?” her mom greets.

“Hey Teresa! It’s your favorite girl, Sadie!”
“Aw hey sweetheart, how’s Michigan?”
“Not so good. I was actually hoping to ask you something?”
“Yeah?”
“I would totally pay for Jenni’s plane ticket if you would let her live with me at my house and go to school with me?”
“I don’t know, Sadie”
“This school is a better system and it would keep her out of trouble?”

There was a long pause of silence as her mother thought about it.
“If it’s okay with your parents, then it’s okay with me” she finally says.
“Oh my god, thank you, thank you, thank you!”
“I’ll let you tell Jenni the news”
“Love you Teresa!”

“Love you too, Sadie”

I tell Jenni the plan and go back to school, happy. Once school is out I talk to my parents about the plan. Jenni and I would share my room; all we would have to do is put an extra bed in the room. My parents looked questionable considering they have never even met Jenni, but said yes. I called up Jenni and she is flying here tomorrow.
