What Hurts The Most
Chapter 2:
*2 years later*
"MOM, DAD, PLEASE LET ME GO!", I pleaded, (Parker had
invited me to come a finish the school year with him in
Washington with the rest of my friends, then go to college with
him up in Olympia.)
"Roxanne Drew Simmons, you will NOT talk back that way, and
it's been 2 YEARS since we moved down here! I dont want you
to leave, get your heart broken, then coming running back home!
We don't have money to be foolishly spending it on worthless
trips across the country!", My mother responded, but my dad
quickly butted in, "Roxie, your mother's right, but
suppose that, if you're 100% sure this is gonna work out,
then we'll buy the ticket, but if things go wrong, you're
staying up there, just like your mother said, we dont have enough
spare money for you to go wherever your heart desires. Do you
understand?"
"YES!!! I'm COMPLETELY SURE daddy! Does this mean I can
go?!?!", I blurted, anticipating the response.
".... Hmm, Ye-" I cut him off by screaming, "Thank
you thank you thank you!!!! I love you daddy!!!", and gave
him a HUGE hug, then on to my mom, "I'm gonna go start
packing, I checked online and the closest flight is Saturday! Can
I go on that one!! Pleeeeeease!"
"Sure, whatever.." My mom said back to me.

YAY! I screamed mentally! I was so excited, because later that
day, I was going to head off to the airport to catch my 6 HOUR
flight to Olympia, where Parker would pick me up! He seemed
excited too, after all, it had been 2 years, and he hated long
distance relationships! HE must really love me, to go 2 whole
years with seeing me in person! I loved him sooooooo much! And I
could not WAIT to see him again, to be in his arms, safe, loved.
I wanted to be loved by Parker, and I wanted to be loved by
Parker forever. I was hoping he'd propose to me, I was almost
certain he was going to... I'd have to wait and see though,
and I had roughly about, 9 hours to wait, and I was soon to find
out those 9 hours, were going to be the longest wait, of my
life.
Okay guys, I might just skip the part about
getting on the plane since
you already read it in the prologue, and just
start with the very last sentence of the prologue. Let me know if
