spinning her around when

Trying to make words sound
right when you write her a
poem. Listening to her
favorite songs when you
miss her. Leaving pointless
voicemails on her phone
hoping she'll smile.
Going to all her games with
a giant poster. Showing her
off to your friends,
because you think she's
everything. Wondering if
you two will get married
and live happily ever
after. Being there til she
finally believed she was
good enough, and staying
after. Holding her hand
with pride when you go out.
Showing the world
you're more than happy
she's yours. You'd
have faith in her, but more
hope in each
