Do your homework, lol. Pay attention in class. Don't follow the crowd, stand out, but be modest. Be social.

Omfg. 8th grade . Only thing I can tell you is stay true to yourself. Don't let anyone change you. This'll be the year you might lose some friends but you'll gain some more. 8th grade shaped me into who I am today. It's made me stronger and wiser. Never let go of your goals this year. This is your last year before high school. Spend it well.

I just finished eighth grade, and I'm moving onto high school this year. It's an important year, the last year of middle school and the first year you might truly experience some freedom. But, you've probably already heard that with freedom, there comes responsibility. Make good choices. Be aware of your words and actions, and how they might affect others. Avoid unnecessary drama, and the people who cause it. Surround yourself with true friends, and always be one yourself. Focus on your grades, they really do matter. Complete and turn in ALL assignments, and always come to class on time and prepared. Avoid getting detentions or suspensions, because certain privileges that you don't want to miss out on could be taken away (dances, pep rallies, extracurricular activities). Play hard, but work harder. Lastly, enjoy middle school, it goes by faster than you think. (:

It sucks. lol Last year of middle school is ok i guess since you're the head of your school and you can kind of control the 6th and 7th graders. haha

8th grade will be a breeze if you stay on the right path. Never do anything bad, illegal or something you wouldn't wanna tell your parents about. Make sure you keep good grades because 9th grade is harder and will count towards getting into college. Make sure you have a nice little group of friends that you can always count on and are there for you. Stay away from any drama happening, 8th grade is full of drama...
If you ever get bullied, or see someone else getting bullied tell someone. I was bullied many times, including 8th grade. Tell a trusted adult if you do, or have any problems in 8th grade.
It's a fun grade :) You'll do great!

Hmm dont worry its not silly at all :) I was actually quite worried about 8th grade, but it wasnt that bad. Just make sure to make the best of it. I dont know how your school works, but FOCUS ON YOUR GRADES. Your grades in 8th grade decide what honors classes you can take as a freshman, and that is super improtant if you want to get into a good college.
The work isnt that hard, just make sure to study.
The girl drama gets really intense, but surround yourself with a couple true friends, and youll be fine.
