The New Kid

After the bell rang for the end of lunch, the Fabulous Four was split up, all of us having different classes to go to. Tianna and Ella used the same stair case to get to the math wing. They had math at the same time, but they weren't in the same class because Ella was so much smarter. She's one of the smartest people in the school and she's only a Sophmore. 
Isabel and I walked together for a matter of mere seconds before she had to go up a stairwell to her Accelorated Biology class and that left me alone, once again. 
Before the crowd of people leaving the lunch room arose, I ran into the hallway that had the locker rooms in it and stayed hidden there until I couldn't hear anyone else passing. Then, I figured it would be safe to head to my favorite class, the only one I actually care about, English.
As I ventured out into the hallway that I thought was empty and heard some girlly giggling. Immediately, I backed up because I figured they were doing something sexual. Normally you don't just hear girls giggle like that. I immediately backed up against a wall, wide eyed. All I wanted was to go to English. But my only way there was being blocked...
"Courntey..!" I heard a voice groan. It sounded vaguely familiar...
"Jakeey Poooo.." Courtney Engleson whinned.
NEW KID? First day and already getting it on with Courtney. I was right about him. Not only that but I was scarred for life, listening to that in the hallway. I needed to get out and go to English. I was so desparate, I ran through the janitor's office to get to the math wing stairwell and climbed up, going all the way around.
~> Meanwhile in the hall <~
"WHY ARE YOU SO ANNOYING!?" Jake yelled, echoing slightly, getting a huge weight off his chest.
She sighed. "Jake... I-I... I just really like you." Courtney said blushing and innocently twirling a piece of hair between two fingers, as usual.
"You've known me for like 2 hours. Maybe." Jake said.
"I know..." Courtney said looking at the ground.
"Alright well I dont really wanna be late for class on my first day of school." Jake said, turning toward the stairwell and dashing up it rather fast.
"Let me walk you to class!" Courtney said, running after him. He turns toward her at the top of the set of stairs.
"Go to your own class." He said and continued up stairs, leaving Courtney dumbfounded.

English is and always has been my favorite subject. I express myself so easily through writing and for me it's kind of the only way I can express myself. Not to mention, my teacher, Ms. Reynolds, is my favorite teacher. She does a lot of creative writing and she picks good books for us to read.
Today, we were doing a "post-lunch due now" as she called it.
She wrote the subject on the board and smiled at the class before she returned to her desk. During due nows, the room was absolutely silent and peaceful. I looked up at the subject.

was writen on the board.
That's another thing I love about Ms. Reynolds' class. She always seems to have a lesson prepared that is also kind of therapy for me. I got out a pen and opened my notebook and began to answer.
What made me feel good?
Two things. First; I haven't seen Aaron or any part of his group since they got kicked off the bus. But now that I think about it, I doubt they even came to school.
Second; The talk with my friends at lunch. They made me feel worth it and like I wasn't completely invisible.
What made me feel bad? This list may be a little longer..
First; The attack on the bus, obviously. I hate them, the way they treat me, everything about them makes me sick.
Second; Lying to my friends and to my own mother. All about the same things. Eat habits. I'm not anorexic though. I'm not.
Third; Jake.
Fourth; Courtney.
Fifth; Jake and Courtney.
Jake and Courtney.. suddenly I felt something burning in the pit of my stomach. It wasn't sickness, it wasn't hunger.. but what was it?
Oh Right.
 Jealousy.
