I looked at myself in the
reflection of the mirror and sighed. I couldn't be pretty
even if I tried. I put my hair in a ponytail as I went downstairs
to leave to go to the pool.
"Darling! You look amazing in that swimsuit!" Mom said
as she twirled me around.
"Thanks mom! It was the only one that fit me." I
stopped smiling.
"Louisa.Honey, it's not that you're big! it's
just that they didn't have your type of bikini. That's
all!" Mom said as she kissed my forehead. When we got to the
pool, I saw Kendall waving at our car.
"LOUSIA! OVER HERE!" she screamed, waving like an
idiot. Kendalls my best friend, and has been since 4th grade.
It's been 6 years since we met, and she hasn't changed
since. I got out of the car and hugged her.
"Its been so long since I've seen you!" I said
letting her go.
"Yeah! Ever since I switched schools, things got
rough!" Kendall exclaimed.
"Sure has.Hey let's go in the pool now!" I said
grabbing her arm. "I'll see you later, mom!"
Screaming at the top of my lungs, still having Kendall's arm
attached to my hand. As we got through the doors, I dropped
everything and dived in. Stupid enough, there was a totally hot
lifegaurd staring at me. I couldn't tell if he was staring at
me because I was cute, or because i just DIVED in.
"CANNONBALL!" Kendall bellyflopped into the water.
I laughed as I splashed her. She splashed me harder. A couple
minutes of splashing, we had a breath holding contest. Kendall
came up first, making me a winner. Still underwater, My hair got
caught onto something! I swiveled my head to seer the surface of
the pool. I stopped trying to get free and shut my eyes. I was
out of time, But it wasn't just my hair, it was my strap! I
screamed and screamed but nobody heard me.I was stuck, and there
was nobody there to save me.
