Weeks ago

I realized I like this kid.
I didn't tell anyone. 
 
We talk every once and awhile. 
We did a project together. 
Nothing crazy.

So today he texted me, asking what I was doing. 
We started the conversation as friends,
talking about what we were doing, 
Then we started talking about who we liked.
He wouldn't tell me. 
I wasn't going to tell him.
He guessed who I liked,
and then he said his own name. 
I answered "Maybe..." 
He answered "I'm gonna take that as a yes. Well maybe thats a good coincidense." 

My heart skipped a beat.

I said "Me?" 
He answered the same way I did,
"Maybe..." 
I died alittle inside.
Then, he asked me out.
How my day went from not making the high school drumline,  to amazing.
