Niall's POV:
I seriously made it. Sure, not as a soloist, but as a group, and that's enough for me. I took out my phone, deciding to call my mom first. 
As I heard the first ring, I got nervous.
What if she doesn't approve?
"Hello?" she answered.
"Mum.." I breathed, as I started crying.
"Niall honey! How'd it go?"
"I made it to the next round. Not as a soloist, but in a group. I got saved."
Silence from the end.
Oh shoot. 
Did she not want that?
What if she wasn't proud of me?
"M-mom?"
And then I heard crying.
"BOB!" I soon heard from the other end,"OUR SON MADE IT THROUGH TO THE NEST ROUND!"
"WHAT HONEY? ARE YOU JOKING?"
I heard rapid footsteps.
"H-hello?" said my dad, breathing heavily.
"Dad... I made it to the next round in the X Factor."
Cheering.
That's what I heard.
My mum came back on the phone.
"Bob! Call Mara, Emily, Teresa, Mitchell, we are having a celebration tonight!"
I laughed," Mum, calm down."
"I can't ! My baby's one step closer!"
More crying.
"I got to run, honey! I'm going to buy supplies for the party! Hurry home!"
"Alright mum, bye, love you."
"I love you too."
