The bad guy in Harry Potter split his soul into 7 different pieces that Harry had to destroy all 7 of them. Which is like 7 bad guys. And not to mention all the other bad guys that we along the way. Think about it before you make assumptions. Also, there's the fact that all of the villians on Scooby-Doo are complete retards when Voldemort was a evil mastermind. And you say that Scooby-Doo got rid of the bad guy? no. It was the whole gang. I love the show, but it doesn't even compare to the awesomeness of Harry Potter. So don't even go there. and Props to Katybugg. You the awesomest!!!!!!! (:

The bad guy in Harry Potter had split his soul into 7 different pieces that Harry had to destroy. They were very dark, advanced magic. And Harry didn't even know what a Horcrux was until the sixth book. Voldemort was DANGEROUS as hell. And a genius with tons of followers who would do what he said, whether it be out of fear or true loyalty. Harry was only 17, and he was not that great of a wizard. Whereas Voldemort was the most powerful dark wizard that ever lived, he only ever feared Dumbledore. The best witch/wizard Harry had was Hermione. Besides that, Voldemort didn't even come back until the end of the fourth book. And it takes a long- time to find and destroy Horcruxes, especially when there are Snatchers everywhere, your wand is broken for a while, one of the Horcruxes Voldemort had with him everywhere (Nagini), the rest had some sort of History, one was in Hogwarts which is oh hell. Voldemort was mad genius. A great villain. The smartest villain there was. Scooby and the gang only had to catch some imbecile in a mask. Voldemort was way more than that. He had tons of experience with Dark Magic, too. He was much more cunning and clever than Harry or even Hermione could ever even dream of being.
I like this, it's cute, but of course I had to ramble about Harry Freakin' Potter. Best series ever. Changed my life♥

Reasons why it was hard to defeat Voldemort:
1. Harry never heard of Voldemort until he was eleven
2. Voldemort made horcruxes so he was almost immortal
3. Voldemort is a wizard and could very easily kill him with a single 'Avada Kedavra'
4. Harry was only 17 when he finally defeated Voldemort

Voldemort is much smarter than those guys in masks that Scooby Doo catches. And, Harry was only 11 when he first heard of Voldemort. The "Gang" consists of experienced adults
