Life’s too

Chapter 8:
At 3:00 my mom and I sat in the
waiting room of the doctor’s office. We waited for our name
to be called. When it was the assistant led us into the examining
room at the end. She told me the doctor would come in soon. Sure
enough 3 minutes later he was here. My doctor was Dr. Hefner. He
looked down my throat with his flashlight. Then he put a stick
down my throat and put his hands up and down my neck. “Very
strange, very unusual, I do not know what this is.” Dr.
Hefner mumble under his breath. My mom must of heard him say this
too. “What do you mean you don’t know what it
is?” she said. “It’s not your common strep
throat…I don’ t think it is a virus at all.”
He said. I couldn’t believe what he was
saying…wait…what was he saying? “I think you
should take her to the hospital and have her get a cat scan
because this isn’t normal and I can’t help
her.” He said. O my gosh what was happening to me I
wondered. “Okay Doctor. Casey lets go to the Emergency
room.” My mom said. There were so many unanswered questions
I was so confused. What was going on? The next thing I knew was I
was in the car and on the highway towards the hospital.
