Chapter 11

"Why whats wrong?" Jose said as he brought me aside from the group of people.
"Just..ill tell you in the car. Please, just take me home." i pleaded.

We said goodbye to the group of people and got in his car.
"Sooo Skye whats wrong?"
"Jose. Take me home."
"Not until you tell me."
"Its so much more than i can explain"
"Summerize it." Jose snapped.
I then told him about my parents and all about Ben and Joslyn and all that crap.
"Oh..Im so sorry Skye, i never knew it was that bad.."
"Its fine. Now will you please take me home?"

When we got back to my house, it was of course pitch black inside.
The first thing i noticed when i walked up to my porch was that Bens bedroom light was very dim; dimmer than usual.
I pointed it out to Jose and he said hed go investigate since Ben always left his front door unlocked and didnt care if Jose popped in once in a while.

Jose came back like hed just seen a ghost.
"What happened?" I asked
"N-Nothing just go inside." he said 
"What.Happened." i demanded
"You wont want to know. By the way, will your mom care if i hang around at your place for a bit? I would rather be with you than my stepdad."
"Shes not home i told you that. And yes, i do want to know"

We walked inside and he sat on my couch.
I plopped myself down next to him, sitting crisscross on the checkered blanket on the seat cushion.
"Soo mind spilling the beans? Cause if you dont ill go over myself."
"Fine Skye, but im warning you, you arent gunna like it. T-They were umm.."
"They were what?" i said as i grabbed his wrist.
"Well..." He said trying to spare time.
"TELL ME."
"Okay okay well isawthemnaedinba"
"Uhm..whatd you just say?"
"Isawthemnakedinbed."
My face dropped.
Jose grabbed my body and dragged me onto his lap.
He put one of my hands in his, and the other around my waist.

Jose really seemed to know me best,
its as if he KNEW i was about to start bawling.
