Impossible  
Chapter 2

"Brittney? " My boyfriend, Shane asked.
"Huhhh?" I responded, I didn't hear a word he had said.
"Did you hear what I told you?" 
"Tell me about what?" I asked cluelessly.
"What's up with you?" he noticed something weird going on.
He couldn't know about Erica and my plan.
He would be probably be angry with me if he knew.
"S-sorry, it's just, I've been really stressed about finals," I lied.
I thought of a brilliant idea, then I added to Shane,
"I'm worried that I'm going to fail my tests because I don't understand
anything, I feel so dumb."
"Aw, babe, do you want me to tutor you?" he gave me a hug.
"No, it's fine, I'll just clear up some things with my teacher," I said to him.
"I'll see you later, go get the help you need," He smiled, then hugged me again.
I watched him leave, then headed to room 38-- Mr. Vanderwal's room.
I'm probably getting an earlier start than Erica. Pfft, she probably
doesn't even know what to do to get his attention.
 I knocked on his door, then walked in.
"Mr. Vanderwal??" I called out. 
He was sitting in his chair, reading a english book.  
His blue eyes looked up from his book, then I could see the happiness in them.
He looked me up and down, trying not to make it obvious.
He cleared out his throat, then said,
" Can I help you?"
"Mr. Vanderwal, I'm having some problems with Chapter 10, 
I don't understand it, and I was wondering if you could help me with it?"
He smiled. "I can, come in after school, and I will help."
"Thank you so much Mr. Vanderwal! " I said enthusiastically, then left.
