The sad thing is people say that and favorite this quote but i imagine only half the people who faved this quote would actually be patient and understanding because most people will say it and fave and post but when it comes down to it they dont truly accept them.... :(

I know this girl who has an autistic sister and she told me once how it upsets her that she cant do what normal teens do with there sisters like talking about boys, gpossipiing, and FIGHTING. she wishes she could have fights with her sister over normal teen things. seriously broke my heart< / 3

well, im not sure if its something to support. but i think its more like you accept, understand, and raise awareness for autism.

my brother is autistic, and people dont really understand why he acts the way he does. so i try to educate people in small ways, like correcting them when they say "thats retarded" or "ugh, hes retarded."
