a few days ago i was
watching the 9/11 reading of the names with my dad.
my dads been a new york city cop for 27 years. he
happened to be working on this tragic day. after every
few names that were read, my dad said he knew that
person. 2976. thats how many people died
september 11th 2001. and my dad knew A LOT
of them. i was suprised.
after watching the reading of the names, there was a
movie on with actual footage from 9/11. i was home alone
watching the movie when i realized my dad was here. i saw
him in the video. he was amongst other cops helping get
people out of the area and giving up his gas mask to
others. people where jumping from the windows and the
video showed there bodies hitting the ground. it was
terrible. i couldnt even watch it. i had to turn off the
tv.
so favorite this for all the new york city cops, and
fireman who saved thousands of lives on this horrible
day. they are real heroes.
