If he as changed, yeaah but if he gives your friend that best respect and love any girl should have then yeaah go for it but if this guy is totally not worth her time then she shouldn't be wasting it.

I personally don't think losing feelings for her makes him a bad person.
Over text is pretty stupid but literally everyone does that these days. I mean, at least he didn't cheat on her. Or break up with her through someone ELSE over text. He could've done a lot worse but honestly, it's up to her & what makes her happy. And if you're her friend, you'll support her no matter what decision she makes. xx :)
