I'm a sophomore at my high school. Last year (my freshman year) we had 5 deaths throughout the school year. One teacher the summer before died of a heart attack. Another teacher committed suicide in March. 3 students passed: one (a senior named Nick) spun out his car, another (my friend, Brooke) was hit by a car, and the third (another senior-Jessie) has cystic fibrosis and died in the hospital. At the start of the new school year, (the 25th of August) we were all hoping that it would be a new, fresh year and no one would die. The school's been open 7 years (this is the 7th) and we've had 2 students (besides these) who've died in the past. IN ONLY 7 YEARS! Anyway, school started on a Thursday (again, the 25th) and the next Saturday (last week, the 27th) a freshman (named Davonte) drowned in a nearby pond. We've been through a lot in the year 2011. In 2 school years, we've lost 6 people and it's possible we may lose some more. Please fave for my school, and all my peers who've passed.
