I stood in my tracks clenching my fist tight. My heart had
stopped beating and no words would come out of my
mouth.
“Well, hello
Ran. Long time no see.” Bryan spoke as he inched closer
to me, an almost sarcastic smirk spread across his face. I
couldn’t seem to make my legs run away. He stopped when
he was face to face with me. I could feel his warm breath on my
fore head as he spoke.
“Are you still
with Mark?” he asked in a curious tone, circling around
me as I stood perfectly still. A few of the other people
following Bryan had gathered watching the scene that was about
to go down. They all wore bandanas with the Boston
Guard’s logo on it around there forearm. I could be
moments away from my death, but I was hoping that Bryan would
have some mercy and let me be free.
“Mark is a
great help to us. I still find it hard to believe that you
would betray him like you did.” I managed to say. My
breath was raspy; I could hardly breathe.
“My question
is… why didn’t you?” Bryan asked running his
fingers along my jaw line, sending shivers down my
spine. “So I
wouldn’t have to work under you.” I
spat.
