Chapter 12

I opened my eyes in the guest room as the light from the window blinded me through my eyelids. Aunt Carrie left for work at four A.M. I looked at the clock it read ten. I slowly got up and brushed my hair and got into booty shorts and a small sweat shirt. I walked downstairs as the door bell rang. I opened it as a Fed X man appeared holding a rectangular box. "Package for Miss. Sophie Bandez?" He said. I nodded. "That's me." I said as I signed the paper on the clipboard. "Here you go." He handed me the box and dissapeared back into his truck. I closed the door and set the box on the couch. I lifted the top to reveal pink and red rosesby the dozen. My jaw dropped. I noticed a note tangled in the stems. I took it out as it read:

Meet me at the main park at eight.

I smiled at the note as my stomach filled with butterflies. Suddenly, I got a text from Justin.

Justin - Hello beautiful. sleep well?

Me - Yes I did. I love the roses. Your sweet.

Justin - What roses?

My eyebrow raised at his response, but then he might just be playing dumb to surprise me. I just giggled and went into the kitchen to make my breakfast.
