Chapter 14.
"Amber?" I heard a voice whisper.
I rolled over in bed to face who was sitting next to me. I slowly opened my eyes, to see Billy sitting at the end of my bed.
"Hi." I moaned.
"Hey. How are you?"
"Good.." I said, rubbing my eyes and sitting up.
"Sure?" He asked, suspiciouslly.
"Yeah, I feel fine."
"Woah, you must have forgot.."
"Forgot what?" I asked.
"Uhh, nevermind."
"Tell me!" I insisted, slapping his arm.
"Alright, well.."
"Well!?" I said, hitting him again.
He rubbed his arms, and continued on, "Well, you must have been hit pretty hard.."
"By!?"
"Ehhrm, Sydneys brother and, his friends, kinda broke in your house, and um attacked you.."
"ATTACKED ME!?" I yelled.
"Shhhhh. Yes, lay back down."
I layed my head down, and felt cold ice on my head.
"We need to go, come on Amber." My mom said, sticking her head in my door.
I walked down my stairs, and passed broken picture frames, holes in the walls, and broken windows.
"What happened?" I asked, not to anyone, just in general.
I slowly walked past pieces of glass, trying not to step on them. It was still early morning, and it was still dark. I walked down the steps outside and into my moms car. She looked at me, then put the car in reverse and backed out the drive way.
