Makeup Glitter & Lies.
Chapter 2.
"What happened!?" I yelled to Alec, walking out of the house with his face in his hands.
"I-I think he was looking for me, because we were going to go to his house..
Mom why are you crying?" Alec asked.
"I-I dont k-know." She answered.
I walked away from them, and ran into my sister, Carlie,  who looked mad.
"Move brat." She said, pushing me to the side.
I rolled my eyes and walked into my house. I ran up the stairs and back into my room.
"Sh*t!" I yelled.
Billy looked up from the collection of papers laying in front of him.
"What?" He asked.
"I have soccer practice!" I yelled, pulling my soccer shorts, shinguards and socks out of my drawer.
"Oh." He said.
"Can you get my cleets from the closet?" I asked, tieing the strings to my shorts.
He threw my shoes at me, as I pulled the socks over my guards. I put on my shoes and threw up my hair.
"Coming?" I asked im.
"Why not.."
I ran down the stairs, grabbing a water bottle from the kitchen.
"Tell mom Im going to practice!" I yelled to Alec, running out the door.
I ran all five blocks to the soccer field, without stopping.
"Great.." I said, seeing the girls already doing warm ups.
"Your late Amber." My coach said.
"I know.."
I ran to catch up the girls. Soccer was my time to think.
"Hey!" I heard Kristin yell from behind me.
I turned my head, and waved. She caught up with me and said,
"Billy's hereee!" She said, nudging my arm.
"Were friends." I said, pumping my legs harder. She caught back up with me as I slowed down.
"I know. You like Chris!"
"Shut up!" I said, looking back at Lila, Chris' sister.
"Whoops, sorry."
Kristin is my best friend, but shes incredibly stupid. Soccer ended, and Billy Kristin and I walked back to my house.
"Im gonna go." He said, picking up his things.
"Alright. See ya tomorow." I answered.
"Hospital, now." I heard Carlie say as she walked past my door. Kristin looked confused, but I dragged her into my car and we drove to the hospital. After about a half hour, the nurse walked out and said,
"Ms. Maxwell?" The nurse asked me.
"Yes?"
"Your dad, had a stroke."
