I turned to find my parents. I gave each of them a long hug and a
kiss and then i turned to get on the train. I Hopped on and
stared to try and find Jake. i bumped into someone on the way up
the train. with a yelp i tripped over my robes. The boy I'd
bumped into reached out and grabbed me, stopping my fall. As i
got up i mumbled a thanks. I looked at him. He was... I don't
know, strange looking. He had blonde, almost white hair and green
eyes. I saw him taking me in too. He then realized he was still
holding my arm and took his hand away. He then just turned and
walked off.
I shrugged but i still felt a little uneasy as i went off again
to find Jake.
I saw Jakes head popping out a compartment and i rushed over to
join him. We sat down next to eachother. The train then started to
move.
"What house do u want to be in?" i asked
"Gryffindor
of course." he said. He was totally at ease here. He had
told me pretty much everything i had to know about
hogwarts and wizards in general.
"What about me?" i asked, "Which do you think i
will be in?"
"well," he said matter of factually "Your very
clever, so mabye ravenclaw... or hufflepuff because your
muggle
born.... or mabye even slytherin" he added
wickedly.
I hit his sholder
"I will NOT be in slytherin!" i cried
"I'm only joking" he laughed "of course
you'll be in gryffindor, you look likie the lion that
resebles it".
"Rawww!" i laughed
He got some of hair imbetween his fingers and played with
it.
"i can't belive this is your natural colour." he
said
"I know, it's weird" i shrugged
"No" he insisted "it's just you." he
smiled at me.
His
eyes lingered on mine for a moment before going back to joking
around.
When the sweets trolley came i bought 3 chocolate frogs and Jake
bought some every flavour beans. I lost one of my frogs and spent ages
chasing it around the compartment. When i finally caught it i had
a look at my cards.
I had 3 Dumbledore's.
"damn" i
muttered.
The train slowed to a halt. And we clambered off. To my
embarrassment as i was getting off the train i tripped on my
robes AGAIN and fell into the same boy. He grabbed me before i
fell onto the hard concrete.
"Will you please stop doing that." his voice was cold
but sliky.
"Sorry" i mumbled Turning red.
"El, are you ok?" Jake asked running up to me.
"Yeah i'm fine" i said
"El?" The boy said
"Elena." i corrected.
"Draco" he replied. Then he walked off leaving me and
Jake alone.
