Camp 4 Ever

- Chapter 5 -

The Camp Alarm goes off , which means it's time to start the day . I grab my camp shirt and pants and head to the bathroom. I get ready and head to Breakfast . I get some cereal and a bottle of water and start looking for a table . As i'm scanning the room i find all the normal groups in normal areas and then i see Adam all alone eating an apple . He see's me looking and waves me over . I start to think " well he saw me guess i have no choice." He gets up and pulls out a chair for me . I've never had a boy do that for me before but it doesnt mean that I've been wrong about all boys , I'm sure Adam is just like them all. Adam " So how did you sleep ?" i sit there with my food trying to figure out how i'm going to make it through this "small talk ". Then i decide to just shove all my food in my face so that way I appear to busy to answer him. After breakfast i head to the camp activities options chart , i see today theres a choice of hiking or fishing . I sign up for fishing , because i know no one else will be there. Once it's time for the fishing adventure to start i find the Councilor in charge " ARM PIT" . I named him that well just because of the fact that he smells like one. ARM PIT then tells me that were just waiting for one more , i stand there wondering who the hell would sing up to go fishing. Thats when i of course see Adam and a bunch of fishing gear. I'm standing with ARM PIT , Jimmy's little cousin mikey and Adam . ARM PIT tells us we will be in groups of two , and then he puts us in groups. I'm praying for the little kid to be my partner , thinking he would be less annoying than Adam. Things dont go my way , I'm stuck with Adam . I throw my fishing line out and then pull out my Ipod. Before i put the head phones on Adam starts talking " Why do you listen to music so much ?" . Did he really just ask me that , i mean I'm a girl , what girl lives without music ? He then shakes his head and throws out his fishing line. It's IYIYI by Cody Simpson , i just love this song and I put it to full screen so i can see the video . I'm smiling watching my favorite person sing his heart away and then i feel Adam hovering over my shoulder . i try to click out of the video but when i cant , i scream " Do you Mind !" . He reacts and moves away , i see him say something but i cant make out what it was . A few minutes pass and I see my fishing rod moving , i finally figure out that must mean I've caught something . I stand up and go to my fishing rod . i struggle trying to bring in the fish on the line , but i dont ask Adam for help . Then Adam asks me if i want help , I dont reply . I feel the line getting harder to hold and i feel myself loosing my footing . Thats when i start to panic as i feel myself mid air and about to be in the lake . But i end up being caught in someone's arms ..Adams arms. I look up at him and see him smiling , i almost smile back but then i stop . I see my Ipod in the lake , I scream at him to let me down . Once he does i dive in to save my Ipod . I dry it off repeatedly but it still doesnt turn on . I feel empty inside as i realize i have to  spend the rest of my summer with out my music and Cody Simpson. Adam comes over and tries to apologize and then says " well at least now you can experience summer camp" I give him a glare and head back to my cabin figuring I've done enough fishing for one day .
