Number 11

I woke up at 8:38 with my head on Evan's chest. I sat up quickly. I shouldn't
be sleeping on Evan's chest. I shouldn't be cuddled up with Evan. I
wasn't engaged to Evan, I was engaged to Brandon. But I didn't care. I woke up Evan.
"Can you take me home?" I asked.
"Yeah, I can." he sat up and grabbed his keys of his kitchen table.
He parents were in the living room watching TV They never really cared what Evan did. We walked out to Evan's car and I climbed into the passenger seat.
"Sorry I fell asleep last night." I said as we began driving toward my house.
"No big deal. It might be a big deal with Brandon though." he replied.
"It's not like we did anything. We watched a movie and fell asleep. Not a big deal."
"I know! I'm just saying he might not see it that way."
"That's why I'm not going to tell him. He can go out with Mackenzie without telling me. I can watch a movie with you without telling him."
He laughed.
"Same ol' Lauren." he said smiling. Ah, He smile was unbelievable. Soon we arrived at my house. "Thanks for the ride." I said closing the door.
I walked into the house to find my mother in the living room watching the news.
"Why are you just now getting home?" she asked with a stern look on her face.
"I'm sorry mom. I was with Evan. I fell asleep while watching a movie with him. We hung out yesterday." I answered. "Okay as long as you
were safe. I have to get going to work honey. There is money on the
counter for anything. See you later." she answered and with that she left.
I sat down on the couch and sighed. I decided to text Brandon.
L: Hey babe. Wanna hang at my place?
B: Sure baby. I will be there in like 5-10 minutes. Kay?
L: Sounds perfect. I Love you!
B: ILY too.
About 10 minutes later I heard his car in the driveway. I wanted to
figure out what he was doing with Mackenzie yesterday. He walked in
without knocking. It wasn't really a big deal. He came and sat on the couch next
to me.
"How you doing beautiful?" he asked.
"Pretty good." I replied.
"Movie?" he asked
"Sure." I replied.
I wanted him to ask what movie, but instead he just stuffed
one of them stupid action movies I hated into the DVD player.
I sighed and cuddled up next to him to watch the movie.

When the movie was over I turned to him and said "Brandon, I have to
ask you something." I needed to ask him now about
why he was with Mackenzie yesterday. He would probably throw
it in my face that I was with Evan, but I didn't care.
"What baby?" he asked with a sincere look on his face.
He must have noticed how sad and nervous I looked.
"Why were you with Mackenzie yesterday? I know I was with
Evan, but we were only catching up. It seemed like you were talking with
Mackenzie about something serious." I said.
"Baby, that's because we were talking about something serious."
"What?"
"Baby, I don't know if I should tell you, but then again you are going to find about this anyway. As my soon to be wife you deserve to know"
"Well, what is it then?"
"I got Mackenzie pregnant..."
