The teenage years...
We face heartbreak. You know, that feeling of heart-wrenching pain? Feeling like your heart has just been ripped out? That's heartbreak. We face rejection. We fall so hopelessly in love, finally work up the courage to talk to him only to be rejected. We feel pain, both emotional and physical. We break down and harm ourselves. We put smiles on our faces, even when we feel like we're dying, because noone takes the time to see through our lies. We get pressured. It's the age where 'everyone's doing it.' No, they're not. When you think about it though, maybe the 'teenage years' aren't so bad. Yeah, you face all those things, but you also fall in love. You fall so deeply in love. Every single feature, his hair color, his eye color, his birthday, his favorite color, his phone number, his everything. 9 months. We only have 9 more months together before you go to college. I wish that day didn't have to come. I'm going to miss you so much. We spend as much time as we can together. We're so close. When you're gone who am I supposed to talk to? Who am I supposed to vent to? Who am I suppose to cry to? Who's going to be there to give me advice? I know we're not exactly friends anymore but you're still my best friend. No matter what, I'll be here for you. That fight we had, it was stupid and I'm so so sorry. I wish I could take it all back. We fought over a boy! Honestly, I wish we had been able to overcome it. It sucks that we can't even look at each other anymore.
