We all complain about our
lives, but once you hear this story, you will see how LUCKY you
really are, and how GLAMOROUS your life is. The lead singer of
Flyleaf, Lacey Mosley, met a woman on tour, who told Lacey her
lives story, and why life is a gift, and its should be lived well.
Also, that God is real, and he does care about you, me, all of us!
This story is inspirational!
Lacey says that this woman was burned
from her head to her feet, and that she had no hair, and her nose
and ears were burned. She admits that it was hard to look at her.
This woman told Lacey that when she was younger, she thought that
if she grew up, got married and had kids, she would live happily
ever after. When she did get married, she was in love and she and
her husband had their first kid. She and her husband started to
fight, and they would fight everyday, and it got to the point were
her husband was beating her everyday, and she felt like she
didn't want to wake up anymore. This woman poured gasoline all
over herself and set herself on fire to kill herself. She was in so
much pain, self inflicted, that she called out "God, if
you're real, help me!" and then she fell into a coma. When
this woman came to, she knew that God was real because she was
still alive. Her main point of telling all of this to Lacey was to
show how selfish suicide is. You aren't taking away suffering,
you are causing more! And the suffering you cause isn't for
yourself, its for your friends and family! Lacey later says that
this woman was the most beautiful woman she had ever seen. She was
able to see a picture of her before she burned herself. Lacey says
that she could have been on a magazine cover. And that she still
could have, because true beauty is on the
inside.
