Really Une_annee_sans_lumiere? I cut..twice..this quote made me realize I don't need to do that because I won't even know these people in the future, there will be new people in my life, but honestly it won't help those kind of thoughts go away..but its there and it makes you realize something.

i cut, i can take a picture of my arm if you want me to, & this quote DID make me realize a few things.
you only get one chance at life, don't end it when you're so far from the finishing line.i'm going through atleast 3 of those things, plus like, 4 she didn't mention, but SHE made me realize, again, that my life will brighten up in the future, & even if it doesn't, i can't let ignorance get to me.
i'm not saying i'm not gonna continue thinking about picking up the blade, because i will, but when i do, i'll remember that the people who do you wrong, aren't worth your time, & they live to see the scars on your arm & the tears in your eyes.
so why should you give them the satisfaction? of them knowing they got to you? that THEY accomplished their goal in life?
this quote doesn't banish suicidal thoughts forever, because they're only words, but for SOME people, it might make them go away for a day or 2.
i'll admit, that this won't save peoples lives, bc again, it's only a quote,
but it probably HELPED a lot of people.

I'm sorry, but this is complete bullshit. If it's really a problem for some people, then this QUOTE would never help. All the people who said this "saved their life" are probably fakes, or just doing it for attention. People really do struggle with cutting/hitting themselves and are mentally unstable enough to kill themselves, and I'm letting you know right now that a QUOTE would never actually help anything. You would need counseling and medication to stop suicidal thoughts, and maybe even both. Besides, it's easier said than done to just let it all go and be happy again. It doesn't work like that.

what about having my dad verbally abuse me, beat me, and then leave with m mom jobless, grow up on welfare, spend 4 years with another abusive stepdad, who was also an alcoholic, and made me take care of his children, cook, clean, and go to school starting at age 10, then move states with your alcoholic mom, where you are stalked by your ex stepdad and have no friends?

I have wanted to say something like this for the longest time, but I never knew how to word it. This is perfect! You probably changed the opinions of so many people that were going to end their life or harm their selves over something that just comes and goes. You are going to be an amazing person when you grow up. And you have probably touched so many people all ready ♥

This is an amazing quote, and it's so true. So many bad things have happened to me this year, so many people betrayed me in so many different ways, and each time i just wanted to die. but now, i've realized everything is slowly healing, and one day i'm gonna be okay <3
