Chapter 41
Ashlee's POV:
Parker and i pulled apart and a smile instantly spread across my
face. The rain had slowed and a light mist had fallen
over the meadow. "Look," Parker said pointing
behind me. I turned around and my eyes fell apon
a bright rainbow, its colors cascading across the sky.
"Wow," I said in awe. "I know," he
replied. I felt his arms slide around my waist and his steady
breathing down my neck. My head rested against his chest and let
out a heavy sigh. "We should probably head back," I
said, not wanting this moment to end. He nodded as I slid my hand
into his and we headed back through the wood.
