my dad came home a few
months ago from fighting in Iraq for a year.
he came to school with my mom straight from the
airport, me and my sister had no idea.
i was in english class when my teacher got a call, she told me the
principal wanted to see me.
as soon as i turned the corner my dad was there. i started crying
hysterically.
it was the best moment of my life.
anyone who has a family member
fighting right now, stay strong and just remember that each day
that goes by is one day closer until they come
