Those eyes.
Part one.
I looked up and saw a pair of eyes. Just a pair of eyes. Green
eyes. Deep, amazing, Green eyes. Then I passed out again. No
sounds, no lights. Just darkness. That's the last thing I
remembered.
Hi, I'm Maddiline Lee. Most people just call me Maddi, or
Lee. Either works. My mom and dad fight constantly, and it's
usually 'my fault'. I have 1 brother, 3years old, Joesph.
2 sisters, 4years old, Brooke, 8years old, Amanda. They get away
with everything. I'm the oldest, at 14. I'm 5 foot 4
inches, about 130 pounds, fat to everyone at school. I have dark
brown hair, slightly side teased, side bangs, layers, Green eyes,
and glasses. Here's my story.
I woke up. The only thing I could feel was my memories poking at
my mind, but I couldn't quite remember anything. Just
someone's piercing green eyes. I looked around, without
moving my body. Where was I? The ceiling was white tiles, the
walls a peach color. Everything was a little blurry. I slowely
picked up my head, but quickly regretted it. There was a horrible
stinging feeling and a huge surge of pain. I dropped my head back
to my pillow, and winced. Something had happened, I just have to
figure out what. Damn, I thought. Why couldn't I remember
anything? At that sudden moment, I couldn't breath. Gasping,
I quickly looked around for anything to help. Someone ran in,
dressed all in white. A doctor, nurse maybe?
"Maddiline, can you hear me? Breath." She put one of
those oxygen masks over my mouth and I tryed to obey here. I
tryed to breath. It hurt my lungs, my chest. What was going on? I
thought. I gripped my blanket. She called someone else in to
help. A doctor.
"Maddiline, Breath. Try to breath. Short breaths. You have a
broken rib, it's going to hurt for a while. It's ok. Do
you remember anything? Anything from before you woke up?" I
closed my eyes and thought hard. I thought back. The only thing I
could remember was those eyes. Those green eyes and blood. I
tryed to whisper, but it came out jumbled up, hoarse. He put his
hand on mine, told me to relax and that everything was going to
be ok, and left. The nurse took the mask away, and I could
breath. She smiled and walked out, nodding at someone I
couldn't see. A boy walked in. He had black hair, about 5
foot 9, his lip pierced. The ring glistened in the light. He
walked closer to the bed. His eyes. Green eyes. Those green eyes.
His lip trembled, his eyes glistened. He whispered, "Maddi,
do you remember me?"
