I ' m   a   s e n i o r   i n   h i g h   s c h o o l , 
I'm not captain of the cheerleaders,
I'm not the girl every guy wants,
I'm not the goody-too-shoo,
I'm not perfect.
But you know what I am?
I am a walking lesson learned,
I am a teammate on the Junior Varsity gymnastics team,
I am a girlfriend to one of the most amazing guys I know,
I am a girl that was bullied all through Junior year,
But look where I am now.
I'm, well, happy.
I've been in many of your positions,
I've probably been through worse,
But who am I to talk when I don't know any of you?
But, if I were to say anything to you as a life lesson -
It'd be, without a doubt, NEVER let anybody control who you are,
control your smile, or control how you feel. 
It's your life, not theirs.
And finally, there will be brighter days, better boys,
and better, greater chances to stretch that smile out across your faces.
