"Okay," she replied. I was relieved. Sometimes abortion is the only option. "but don't you need a parent signature? My mom would never."
"Do you have any contact with your dad?" I asked.
"Not really," she answered, "but I can find him online."
"Good. Get in touch with him," I said. "By the way, who's the father?"
She looked at me for a moment, and then said, "Jack."
