I never thought me and Mellody would turn out to be having an awkward relationship. We were good at first until it came to boys. I guess you get the point. Anyways, we still talked. Were like half friends i guess. Everything changed when august came. She would be turning sixteen. "I'm having a sweet sixteen party at the recreation center. Bad place,but it has a stage and MGMT is playing there."
When she told me that, I sort of choked. Me? At another normie party??? Unbelievable!  In fact, so crazy I had to call my father, thats in the woods. He said he had "business"  out there.
"hello...?" he questions.
"dad it's me! guess what??? I got invited to a sweet sixteen party!"
"...."
"dad? hello?"
" w-want me to come?"
" why would I want a sixty-two year old man to come with me to a teenage party?"
"is the girl cute?"
"why do you need to know?"
"..."
"DAD!"
"expect me to be there."
I could hear the smile in his face,but before I could yell, he hung up.
