   The party started at midnight. All the plastics,jocks, and emo were there. great. MGMT started there concert off by singing time to pretend . Mellody seemed unhappy at one point when the plastics walked out disgusted by someone on the other side of the stage.
   "Whats wrong?" I asked completely caring. " Some old guy made the popular girls walk out. He will make everyone leave!" She said whining.
   " Is this the birthday girl?" I heard a voice behind me. It was my father with a rope and knife. I screamed. Me and Mellody ran to the back of the gym scared. "Leave her here or I will kill you too, my girl." I saw him behind an open gate. I had no choice. I pushed her through fully and closed the gate. I ran and didn't look back.

   I never thought me and Mellody would turn out to be having an awkward relationship. We were good at first until it came to boys. I guess you get the point. Anyways, we still talked. Were like half friends i guess. Everything changed when august came. She would be turning sixteen. "I'm having a sweet sixteen party at the recreation center. Bad place,but it has a stage and MGMT is playing there."
   When she told me that, I sort of choked. Me? At another normie party??? Unbelievable! In fact, so crazy I had to call my father, thats in the woods. He said he had "business" out there.
   "hello...?" he questions.
   "dad it's me! guess what??? I got invited to a sweet sixteen party!"
   "...."
   "dad? hello?"
   " w-want me to come?"
   " why would I want a sixty-two year old man to come with me to a teenage party?"
   "is the girl cute?"
   "why do you need to know?"
   "..."
   "DAD!"
   "expect me to be there."
   I could hear the smile in his face,but before I could yell, he hung up.

   hi! i heard of this movie so i wanted to try to write something like it. enjoy!!!!
   chapter 1
   My high school is practically a battle field. The plastics have to mess with the emo, the emo cry, the jocks laugh at the crying emo, the plastics get mad because the jocks took over, the emo get mad and cry more,
   the nerds run by, that takes care of jocks, jocks run off, plastics walk
   away shaking hips, and that is only from first to second period. What about us, the normal ones? we stay out of it. We are not that noticed.
   That was before my father turned upside down.
   Once upon a time, it was a quiet day. Mostly all the emo were absent from damaged cuts, and the jocks were at practice out of town. Then the principal and the councilor, and this girl came in. The girl seemed to have girly-girl taste, with a friendly twist. The principal made an announcement:
   "This is Mellody Dunst. She will be going to our school now. Be sweet to the new girl." He smiled and left.
   Mellody sat next to me.
   "Hi." she stated, holding out her hand. "Hi." I said.
   This girl was a normie. Finally.
