My life is
just about to come crashing down. Let me start from the beginning
though. My name's Katherine. Katherine Danielle Parker. I am going
into high school and just graduated 8th grade. So let's
start...
It was the last day of school. Everyone was so excited and then it
happened. The bell rang to signal that school was officially over.
I went to my locker to go grab the rest of my stuff and someone
covered my eyes.
"Guess who."
I knew that voice anywhere. It was Caleb, my best guy friend in the
whole world. We have known each other ever since we were in second
grade.
"Hi Caleb!" I giggled.
"Aw, how'd you know it was me?"
"Caleb, we have been best friends ever since the second grade.
I think I know your voice by now."
"Whatever Kat, are we still hanging out after
school?"
"Yeah of course. One second, I told Emily I'd meet her by the
vending machines. Come with me?"
"Sure, don't take too long Kat."
"I won't!"

"Hey Kat! I'm glad you didn't forget." Emily laughs.
"Course I didn't forget!" Hugs Emily.
"Uh, I wanna ask you something." Emily looks over my
shoulder.
"I get the hint when you want a guy to leave." Caleb
walks away.
"Okay, um, I was wondering if you could maybe hook me up. With
Caleb..."
"You like him?"
"Yeah, a lot. Please!"
"Uh, I guess.."
"Thanks Kat, love you!" Emily skips to her bus.
"Okay, ready Caleb?"
"Ready, can we go to the park?"
"Ha ha, sure hun!"
"Cause when we get there I need to tell you something
important..."
"Uh, sure?"

"Okay, so what did you wanna ask me Cal?"
"Uh, well, we have been friends for a long time now. And well,
I don't know, maybe we can, be more than friends?..."
"Uh, Caleb, Emily really likes you. A lot. She asked if I
could hook you too up. I can't date you when my other best friend
loves you..."
"But answer the question... do you feel the same way about
me?"
"Caleb of course I love you and I care about you. I have had
the BIGGEST crush on you ever since the day we became friends and
you KNOW that. But I just can't be with you."
"WHY THE HELL NOT KAT! WE BOTH LOVE EACH OTHER!"
"BUT MY BEST FRIEND LOVES YOU AND DON'T EVER YELL AT ME
AGAIN!"
"YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO! I'LL YELL AT YOU IF I
WANT!"
"WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM CALEB! WE CAN'T BE TOGETHER,
YOU NEED TO GET THAT IN YOUR HEAD!" I nudge Caleb a little
bit.
At the moment, I forgot Caleb has a really bad temper and gets mad
VERY easily. And after I did that, it threw Caleb over the top, and
he slapped me across the face.
I fell to the ground holding my left cheek, eyes full of tears.
"Oh my god, Kat..." Caleb reaches his hand to help me
up.
"DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH ME!" I smack Caleb's hand away and
I run until I get to my room and shut the door and burst into
tears.

I like it alot i think it is awesome , i cant wait till the next part i bet it will be good :D
