Never Forget
Chapter 4
POV: Matt
"Hannah, how'd you get so good at ice skating? You came from Arizona." I asked. As she landed a triple axal she replied, "Yes, but I took lessons." She started spinning, making her way towards me. A moment later, she spun into me. Her hands rested on my shoulders and I put my arms around her waist. I stared at her gray eyes. Before thinking. I blurted out, "You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen." Immediately after I said that I threw my hand up across my mouth. She smiled and gazed back at me, "Thanks. You're not too bad yourself." She giggled and spun away.
"Two swirls in a cone, please." I told the cashier. I glanced over my shoulder to see her staring out the window. I stared at her until I heard the lady say, "Sir, your ice creams." I gave them a five dollar bill and walked over to her table. "Aww. Thanks, Matt." She said to me. She stood up and walked to the counter. She grabbed a spoon and came back. I gave her a weird look as she dug her spoon into the ice cream. She looked back at me, "This is how I eat ice cream cones..." I laughed.
"So, this is where I live." She told me, looking at a big, light brown house. "Wow, it looks nice. It's really big." She nodded, "Want to come in?" Before I could answer, she grabbed my hand and pulled me to the porch. She opened the door, and lead me up the stairs and down the hall. She knocked on a door, and after no answer she walked inside. I followed her into the light blue room. There were two beds. She saat on the one closest to the door. I sat next to her. "This is my room. Sorry it's messy. Me and Kelsey haven't had time to go through all these boxes." I shook my head, "No, my room's way worse. So, anyways... I know this is only our first date, but will you go out with me?"
