     He was gone. He left me in the pool and just left. The tears continued their little journey down my face and merging into the pool water. Finally, I had had enough. I pushed back from the wall and went deep underwater. I just went farther and farther and came back up. I repeated this for who know how long until I went inside from pure exhaustion.
     I got one text message when I went back up to my room. Zach. So??? "UGH!!" I screamed to myself. No one was home, they must've left when I was in the pool, not wanting to disturb me. I texted him back : It's you. I chose you. Please don't make me regret this, okay? Him: OMG I love you so much, Katie!!! Wanna go out tonight? Me: Sure, where and when? Him: I'll pick you up. @ 7. I didn't even bother texting him back. I was still a little wary since it seemed all of a sudden.
     It was about 2 ish, wow time flies. I took a long shower and when I got out it was 2:45. I put on comfy clothes; shorts and a tank, and went downstairs to watch some T.V. I set my alarm for 5:30 on my phone in case I fell asleep. I could feel it coming. Sure enough, I was out. 
     When I woke up, the T.V. was still on and my mom was rummaging around in the kitchen. "Hey, momma!" I said as I went upstairs.
     "Hey, hunny!"
     "I'm going out tonight. Alright with you?"
     "Sure, sweetie. No problem. But be back at a reasonable time."
     I went into my room and headed straight for my walk-in closet. I texted Zach if it was fancy and he replied that it was a little dressy, but not black-tie or anything. I picked out white leggings, a gold shimmery top and a thick white belt. I put it on and got a white long-sleeved cropped jacket incase it got chilly. I also grabbed my diamond-stud earrings and put them in. Lastly, I put a diamond-heart necklace on and straightened my hair. When I was done, it was 6:45. I put some eyeliner and mascara and grey eye shadow on and headed downstairs. I slipped into my white gladiator sandals and waited outside for Zach.
     At exactly 7, he pulled up. I got in the passenger side and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. My stomach was turning in on itself and I was getting a HUGE case of butterflies. I forgot how much I liked him before I went out with Brett. He said I looked gorgeous and we headed to the place.
     We drove into a restaurant parking lot and he led me around back. I had never been there before so I had no idea what to expect. We walked a little ways and then we were there. I gasped. We were on a huge cliff and there was a picnic blanket set up with a picnic basket full of food. There was a vase with a rose in the middle and two sets of utensils and plates. We enjoyed the dinner and before I knew it, it was time to go. I had a good time and we were almost to my house before he took a turn down a dark street. It looked dead since all the lights were out in the houses. 
     "Where are we going and what are we doing here?"
     "Well, I am gonna use you for my happiness," he said in a menacing tone. 
     "Umm, what?"
     "Don't worry, you'll enjoy it," he said while glaring at me with cold eyes. I whipped my phone out and texted Brett: Help me. Before I could hit the send button, Zach stuck something in my arm that hurt. A lot!
