what if your body wasn't ready to support the baby? then you and the baby would have a lower chance of surviving.

I agree with this quote. I didn't really care about abortion until my aunt told me a story about a baby that survived the abortion and they threw it in the garbage. A nurse heard it crying and since she wasn't allowed to save the baby she just rocked it to sleep until it died. That's so cruel. Even if you were by some phedefile the baby is still half of YOU. Or how about those stupid teens that go and have ? If they don't want a baby then don't go have . idiots.
Great Quote! :)

Pro-choice, not pro-abortion. I think that's where some people see things differently. It's DEFINITELY not that pro-choice people want every single person to have an abortion just because it's legal, nooo. It's just to keep the option open, like both _authorized and torn_heart stated.

In my opinion it should be the very LAST option but STILL an option. Would it be better for the baby to be born in poverty? Or if the mothers life (a person who is already breathing, feeling, has a name etc) is in danger versus a fetus (not breathing, not thinking, not feeling, just a lump of cells since that's when they preform abortions, not when it's a fully formed baby)? Adoption isn't as easy as people make it seem. Most mothers want open adoption, so they can keep up with the kid and watch it grow, while most parents want closed adoption which is final and no contact unless the child seeks it. Both involve months of paper work and lots of cooperation.

It's just something to think about, because if a cracked out mother can't get a legal abortion, where do you think she'll go? She'll put herself in jeopardy to get rid of it. It's just better to have that option open, but never, ever forced.

There are many different situations, if say, the government chose to outlaw abortions, people would find other ways to do it that would cause potentially more damage, leaving the mother and fetus is much worse conditions than with an abortion. But you have to remember, a fetus is not a baby. It cannot think, it cannot feel, it is not a person. So.

And just adding, since a lot of people don't seem to know, if your pro-life you aren't just against abortions, you're against people dying in Africa or other third world countries, against the death penalty, etc. It doesn't just apply to abortions, so just saying to everyone who's so pro-life!~ if you don't support all of it, you're a hypocrite.

i'm pro-choice, but this quote is very good. i do not like FORCE abortion. i think abortion is wrong. but it's the womens choice to decide if shes capable & can afford to pay the needs of this baby.

Hm, I love debating about stuff like that, but I'm not sure if I'm pro-choice or pro-life D=
I feel that if you were irresponsible enough to not use a condom and/or birth control, you most likely shouldn't have a baby, but then again, it is your fault, so you should have the baby and give it up for adoption or whatever. If you're , I guess you should have the choice, or also if you are physically incapable of having children, and something like the condom ripped, you should be able to have an abortion. But on the flip side, they should be pro-choice because they are giving the baby the right to live. Though it's technically murder.
Yay long comment :D

i guess i agree, but also remember that you might not be able to support the kid or you could have been , and also think about just how much more the world would be overpopulated, how many more jobs would have been taken, how many more people would be starving on the streets, your kid could be one of those people who you thought was set off well, but ended up killing/raping people, so think about that too

I think abortion is ONLY okay if you're aborting for AND you give the unborn fetus to stem-cell research so we can learn more about stem cells and see how we can possibly kill those bad cancer cells or birth defect cells etc.

i truely agree with this. but, you need to think about the opposite way around. if a 14-16 year old get pregnant...whether its by accidedent or not, they are not going to responsible enough to take care of a child...let alone their self if they are having . many teens parents wont supposrt them at all, and they will end up having a horrible life, for themselves and the baby. the baby doesnt have the choice to brought up like that, by a family who might not have anough money to buy food every week. they didnt get to choice what their family life would be like. also, they chances of having a healthy child at a young age are low, it could be born with birth defects, retardation, or the mother could have a miscarriage. thats even less fair isnt it? i mean abortion really is horrible and i doubt i could ever make that choice. but if you think about it, saying that abortion is like murder is wrong. thats like saying that everytime you have your period your killing a baby, because you didnt get pregnant to have the child... the egg wasnt fertilized you killed it, it was flushed down the toilet. just another look on things. but i dont know. the abortion rate is about the same as the rate for miscarriages. thats not fair either? for the mom or the kid. neither of them got to vote for that right. abortion is many times the best choice for the child. its not born yet, it doesnt havefeelings, its like stepping on a spider. should i not kill that spider? that ruining a life! but it could bite you, and they are creepy... what would you do. also, many adopted kids, when they find out they are adopted struggle through depression, and they feel like their parents didnt want them. i dont think thats fair to the kid, unless that situation is needed. not just oh i got pregnant, dont want, wont get an abortion, oh adoption! also many victims chose adoption because itelf it scary enough, but to have someone elses baby?! thats horrible. also many teen mothers also have the danger of going through labor and birth, to their own health. you wouldnt want to take away your friends life if they got pregnant. if they had the baby their life would be over, a teenager would have the responsibility of a 20-30yr old mother, with a newborn child. they wouldnt be able to go anywhere in life, barely even finish school, and forget about college. but as bad as abortion may be i dont think its either right or wrong. it COMPLETELY depends on the situation.
