My name is Mary
I was birthed on June 30, 1994.
I am obsessed with a few things-
-Mythology
-Reading
-Singing
-Dancing
-and Writing
My friends, family, and, most importantly, God have been what get me through even the toughest situations.
My friends go to me for advice before anyone else. People I don't even know that well have asked me for advice before simply because they have no where else to go.
I am not judgemental, I always see the good in people, I can be lazy, forgetful, a bit spacey and weird, and I happen to be shy with people for the first 10 minutes of meeting someone or so.
I'm a senior in high school and I plan to major in English and minor in philosophy and writing in college.

My friend, Isaac, has cancer.
He's a sophomore in high school and is seriously an amazing, whale loving, funny, and adorable guy. He didn't see this coming at all.
Can I get some favs for him? To show people they support him.

She died two years ago today.
My childhood best friend, Lucy, died last year from leukemia.
She was diagnosed with it not long after her first third birthday.
She fought it and survived.
Two years after she joined a project at her school called "Big Sister Project"
My mom had left when I was a kid and was being raised by an older father.
She stepped in as my big sister, as my role model, when I had no one.
I asked her once why she did and she told me,
"Life is fragile, I should know.
I don't want anyone going through life
feeling as if they have no one."
When I started high school she was a senior.
She showed me where every class was and what classes were good ones.
She was my life line.
Three months before graduation she was told her leukemia was back.
Her parents worked while she was in the hospital.
I missed school many times simply to be with her.
Everyone, even she, knew that she wasn't going to make it this time.
They called and told me she had a mere hour or so to live.
I went to the hospital and ran up to her room.
She looked at me and began crying.
"Come here." She said holding out her arms.
I ran into them and we hugged.
"Why did you come? I know you had school."
I answered with,
"Life is fragile, I should know.
I don't want anyone going through life
feeling as if they have no one."
She smiled and closed her eyes. I hugged her tight and she hugged me.
Ten minutes later she died in my arms.
Her parents and I cried together.
I miss her like no one I have ever missed.
Lucy I love you big sister, and always will <3
I hope to see you in heaven one day (:

A Gun, a lie, and a hypnotist
"It's not worth it Sam. Please, put it down." I struggled to say as I looked down the barrel of the same gun that killed my fiancé. A warm tear slid down my face and I swallowed,
"You lied to me!" She whispered in her Texas twang, "You promised you wouldn't tell! You promised you wouldn't hurt me! Look at what you did!" With every sentence her voice grew until, eventually, it became a shrill scream. "My life is ruined because of it!"
"I didn't promise you anything! I didn't tell anyone about us either!" I shouted back, growing increasingly angry. "I keep my promises. It was you who distorted a meaningless relationship into something it wasn't! You're insane!"
"I am not." She said calmly. She took a deep breath and her hand tightened on the gun. At the same time she closed her eyes and I closed mine. Then, she pulled the trigger.
In my fiancé's case there wasn't a reason or a suspect and, to the police, it looked as if they didn't need a suspect, they had ruled it a suicide. I knew better though. Two weeks ago my fiancé was killed. Three weeks ago I had cheated on her. Four weeks ago, I met Sam.
----- Should I put more on or is it horrible? I need some opinions!

My Grandmother
is the strongest woman I know.
She fought Breast Cancer and lived
had a stroke 3 years ago that put her in the ICU
they said she wouldn't recover... but she did and was given three more years with her three children, husband of 50 years, and all of her grandchildren that she cherished
on October 20th, while watching her grandsons football game, she suffered another stroke, a bleed into her brain.
they took her off life support and she breathed on her own.
her vitals were just as strong and normal as yours or mine would be.
she held on and stayed this way for 4 days and 3 nights.
Today she started to deteriorate.
we highly doubt she will last the night
I ask for you prayers.
She deserves them.
Grandma your strength gives me hope (:
