as she waited there on her front steps,
she was thinking... "i can't belive this."
then she saw him, walking down the street
in his favorite worn out northface jacket and his
dirty converses, and when he saw her he got
the biggest smile on his face.
she was thinking,
"how could he smile at me like that
after what he did?"
he comes up to her and pulls her in for a big hug.
he whispers in her ear, "i missed you."
then she said , "i'm sure you did."
he stepped back and let her go with a confused look on his face.
he looked at her and said, "what are you talkiing about?"
a single, silent tear rolled down her cheek,
"how could you?" she saidd.
he looked her in the eyes and wiped away the tear,
"whats the matter? what are you talking about?"
she looked away. she couldnt stand to look at hiim.
"hey. look at me." he said and touched her cheek to face him.
she said, "what is wrong with you? how could you come here and treat me like
nothing happened. you thought i wouldnt find out."
he looked at her wide eyed, "what?"
just then her best friend comes walking out of her house.
he blushed soo red, and looked at one girl then the other.
both girls had tears running down their faces.
both girls thenn said "just leave. its over."
he said, "im sorryy. i didnt want this to happen."
the one girl said, "im sure thats what you wanted. just go. dont ever talk to us again."
with tears in his eyes, he turned on his heel, and slowly walked down the street,
with his hands in his pockets, watching his feet because he didnt want anyone to see him crying.
once he turned the cornerr the two girls turned to eachother and gave eachother
the biggest hug ever. they didnt speak they just hugged and cried together.
when the boy got home, he sat on his front steps and just cried to himself.
"how could i do that to 2 best friends. im horrible." he thought to himself
as he waited there on his front steps.
