   Gay Marrage..
   Okay so since the hotter topic right now is gay marriage, well, I would like to say a few things about it.. Honestly I don't care if you're gay, straight, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or anything else. That is your choice and your choice only, no one else can decide for you. And it's okay to be any one of those. Being gay, straight, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or anything else doesn't define who you are as a person, no matter what others say or think.
   People that are against it, well that is completely your choice and your beliefs. That is okay but to come out and say gay marriage isn't right, or it's a sin in the bible, or it's wrong, or marriage is suppose to be between a man and a woman, that is just too much for me to see and hear. I mean I know you have every single right to say and to think of what you want, that's perfectly fine but to say it to another person and expect them to change their stand point on what gender they love is completely wrong.. I mean how would you like it if someone came up to you and told you that being African American, Caucasian, Hispanic, or Indian, etc. was wrong? Or saying that since you are Hispanic you cannot marry a Caucasian, or what ever race you are. What grinds my gears the most about this whole gay marriage controversial topic is that people have the nerve to say that its completely against what the bible says... I mean damn, I get that the most common religion is Christianity, but not EVERYONE is a type of Christian.. so honestly, when you say that it's against the bible, it doesn't mean a whole heck of a lot to another religion... I mean believe in what you want, but don't go out there and throw your religion in someone else's face because you don't know for sure what religion they are or even if they believe in religion. .

   chapter 4.
   With that Jackson looked down at the girl he was head over heels for. He bent down and kissed her softly on the lips, just like their very first kiss on the beach. They both pulled back and Jackson could see her eyes glistening because of the tears. He took Maci into a hug. Never in a million years did he think that it would be this hard saying goodbye to a girl he just met 3 weeks ago. Then Jackson gave Maci something that he never would have given to anyone else… his dog tags. He never let anyone wear them or even touch them. That was his prized possession. But he knew that was how Maci could remember him. She also gave him the bracelet she never ever took off. Since he gave her something to remember him she wanted to do the same. So in any tough situation he would know a part of her was always with him.
   Then it was time for Jackson to leave.
   “Maci, I’ll see you soon. I promise you.” Jackson said looking into her eyes.
   “I’ll see you soon.” She got on her tiptoes and kissed his lips.
   That was the last kiss she would get from him for the next year. It broke her heart to see him leave her but she knew that he was going to be safe. She saw him get onto the bus and she watched as the bus pulled out of the station.
   When she got into her car she saw a folded up paper on the passenger seat. She opened it and read:
   Maci,
   Well I thought I would write my first letter before I left. But now you are in the car right after I left. This has to be one of the hardest things I have done. I never wanted to leave you. I wish I didn’t have to. But my leave was over. Now I’m going around saving and helping people. I don’t know where I’ll be at in the world at the moment but when I do I can’t tell you. I’m so very sorry. I wish I could tell you but I can’t. The thing is there won’t be any phones, computers, or any other technology where I’ll be. So the only way to talk is through paper mail. I also wanted to let you know that I love you with everything I have. Its amazing how much you can love someone only after 3 weeks with being with them. But to me it seems like an ‘ I love you ’ wont do. And it’s not enough. What I feel for you is something more then love. There may not be another name other then love that means more. But I know what I feel is more then love. The mail might get mixed up while I’m out here so lets start numbering our letters. So this is # 1 for me. Maci, I’m going to miss you every day I’m not with you.

   After she had read that more tears came out of her eyes. She already missed him. As she drove she couldn’t stop thinking about him. About how much time they really spent together. She didn’t know how long she could go with out seeing him. When he wasn’t with her while he was on leave she was going crazy. She missed him every time they said goodbye each night. She really did love that boy. She didn’t know what she was going to go now.

   chapter 3.
   It was the most amazing spot I have ever seen. I laid out the blanket and then sat down on it.
   While we were eating I said,
   “So tell me about yourself. Because I have no clue who you are and what you do.”
   “well aren’t you a little stalker. Nah. I’m just kidding,” He laughed. Then he continued, “well my name is Jackson Caldwell. I am 19 years old. I live here in Georgia. I am in the United States Marines. I am on leave right now. So now tell me about yourself.”
   “My name is Maci Johnson. I am 18 years old. I live in Tennessee. I’m going to collage to be an author. And I’m on summer vacation.” I smiled.
   We were having a great time, laughing at everything. I just seemed like we knew each other for years. I was opening up to him just like that. I never did that and it was starting to scare me.While they were hanging out with each other, Maci and Jackson were falling for each other. They never knew that they could fall this fast. The day was coming fast, the day when Jackson had to leave. Everyday since they met they were with each other. And then the day came when Jackson left to go back to Italy with the other troops. Maci didn’t want him to leave. She loved him. Even though they only met mire three weeks ago. With everything that they did together, they went surfing, shopping, gone to the movies, chased each other on the beach, watching the sunset, walking on the beach at night, and did every and anything else they could together. Maci knew the day was coming but she didn’t want it to. Neither did Jackson. He couldn’t explain his feelings. He always thought there was no word or sentence that would be enough to explain his feelings for her. He knew he wanted to only be with her. He didn’t want any other girl because no other girl could measure up to Maci.
   They were at the bus station when Jackson said,
   “Since I won’t be back here for a year, how about we write as much as we can. How about that?”
   Maci smiled,
   “Yes. Let’s do that. I want to know all about what you do.”

   “So why aren’t you with your friends?” Jackson looked down at me.
   “I don’t know. I guess it got boring.” I shrugged.
   “Oh. I know we just met and all but do you want to go to dinner with me tomorrow night?” he asked.
   “Umm sure. What kind of restaurant?”
   “How about that seafood place on the pier?”
   “Okay.”
   “I’ll pick you up at 7:30?”
   “Alright.” I smiled.
   “Bye.” He said as he walked away leaving me there to just watch him as he walked.
   The next day I was just watching the waves. I was staring out across the water watching the birds swoop down and try to get some fish for dinner.
   I must have sat there for the whole entire day. I always thought that was relaxing for me. I didn’t know what was happening. Nothing seemed to be going right anymore. My mood changed in the matter of seconds. I don’t know why but I went from happy to upset. I looked at my phone and I saw that it was already 8:30. I was still waiting for Jackson.
   “I’m so sorry I had you wait. My dad needed help with his car because he didn’t know how to change something in it.” Jackson said walking up and sitting next to me with a blanket and a picnic basket.
   “it’s okay. I thought you just didn’t want to come… But what about the seafood restaurant on the pier?”
   “well it closes at 9 so I thought we could just do a little picnic on the beach.” He looked at me.
   “Oh okay. That’s fine.” I smiled at the thought of it.
   “so lets go get in the car and I’ll take you somewhere.”
   We both got up and walked to his car. He started to drive a little bit past the town. He stopped the car and got out. We grabbed the blanket and the basket. Jackson told me to follow him so I did. Then we got to the spot. It was a rock cliff over looking the ocean

   chapter 1.
   It all started when I was vacationing in Georgia. My life what turned upside down that Sunday morning.
   It was about 10 am when I went out side to be with my friends. We were all hanging out when I fell off the pier, I know klutzy. My friends and I were just having a good time when I lost my balance and I fell. All of my friends started to panic. They didn’t know what to do. I had hit my head on something in the water. I started to feel numb. I couldn’t move at all. That’s when I felt someone grab me by the waist and pull me up.
   “Are you okay?” a guy had asked me.
   I couldn’t talk. There was what felt like gallons upon gallons of water in my throughout. Then I coughed almost all of the water up.
   “Ma’am are you okay?” he asked again.
   “Um.. Yea I think so. My throughout is just sore from the salt now. Thank you for saving my life.” I smiled at him. I wanted to know who he was.
   “No problem ma’am. I’m Jackson.” he smiled at me.
   “I’m Maci.”
   He helped me up and we started walking over to my friends.
   “Well here are your friends. I’ll let you go be with them.”
   “Thank you again. You’re a life saver.” I said looking up at him.
   “No problem. Just try not to do it again.” Jackson laughed then walked the opposite direction of my friends and I.
   “Maci. We were all running down to the water when that guy just jumped off the pier and swam down to you and saved you.” My friend Carli stated.
   “Carli, its fine. That guy saved me.” I said walking into my back yard.
   We were all hanging out at my house in the back when I decided to go to the edge of the water and sand and just walk. I looked up at the moon and it was just a curved slit in the sky.
   “Most people say that this type of moon is just gods thumb nail.” Some one said from behind me.
   “Jackson is that you?” I say out into the darkness.
   “Yea its me.” he walked up to me.
   “You scared me.” I laughed.

   I NEED ADVICE!
   Alright so I am dating this guy.. He's amazing. he treats me right.. but anyways, he let me play with his IPod yesterday.. while he left the room i looked at his pictures i saw some pictures of him and his ex girlfriend kissing. and then the day before he showed me all the girls that have sent him pictures of them, also there are pictures of these girls in his wallet.     life isnt fair;i know...
    Look at the oil spill for instance... Does anyone see what BP what done to the Gulf of Mexico?
    Out of every single country in the world the United States is the only country with out laws
    concerning off land drilling(ocean oil drilling) I'm not tring to talk crap about the United Sates
    but come on! What are we the only country that doesnt have laws about off land drilling? How
    is all of this fair to the animal, or the people who live on the beach? I live in Wisconsin and it feels
    like I live down there. WHy does everyone have to suffer? Do you know how much choral reef
    we have lost since the beginning of this oil spill?
    And what about the war? We've been there for about nine years now. look at how many men and
    women have been killed. Moms and dads have lost their children, siblings have lost their borthers
    ans sisters, kids and teens have lost their moms and dads/ How is that fair to them???
    I'm thankful for all of them to be fighting for our freedom but how long will it take? My uncle almost
    died there. He had to be transported back to the United States for intencive surgery.
    So maybe we should start thinking about other people before we think about ourselves.
