I identify very strongly with Nick Carraway. My life is my own and the novel is centred around me, but it's not really. I am the protaganist, but I'm not the hero; instead, I exist to serve witness to the great, the unfathomable. I am here to follow the great around, to see it through fresher eyes, here to stay when Rome falls to ruins. Maybe one day I will tell tales of the Gatsby that I lived to experience, and maybe nobody will believe me. Maybe I'll be the only one to believe in my Gatsby. Maybe I will attend the funeral of the experience alone. Certainly, though, I feel that I exist just to attend it.

Puede ser la edad. Puede ser mi pasado. Puede ser mi presente. Puede ser cualquier cosa. Pero todavía no sé qué es.
A veces envidio a la gente que tiene todo tan claro
Pero también pienso que es aburrido y prefiero quedarme en mi estado de confusión constante.
¿Ven? Casi siempre me contradigo.
Tal vez digo cosas totalmente opuestas porque una de ellas es lo que realmente siento. Y la otra es lo que mi mene inconsientemente me hace decir porque eso sería lo "normal".
Podría quedarme pensando todo el día.
Pero esa ya lo hice varias veces bastante tiempo
Pienso que es una pérdida de tiempo pero a la vez me sirve porque me deja las cosas más en "claro"
No puedo explicarle a la gente cara a cara lo que siento
Cuando intento hacerlo siento que me ahogo
Que tengo una opresión en el corazón
Que tengo una cadena de hierro atada a la garganta y que voy a morir
Que lindo.
(El sarcasmo es mi mejor amigo.)
Pero en realidad, a veces, me gusta ser así
Tener muchas personalidades que se contradicen
Es decir, cada una sale a la luz en su momento
A veces sale la equivocada y es ahí cuando cagué.
También estoy así probablemente por la situación tonta y a la misma vez es el %90 del problema.
Me encanta alguien.
Una persona que en sentido literario, está lejos, muy lejos
Y a la misma vez la siento muy cerca
Una persona que es imposible
Una persona que comparte un sentimiento conmigo
Pero no del modo en que yo quiero
¿Me explico?
Y en el otro sentido, está muy cerca mio
Es una relación tan...

Pero en realidad un viaje a otra dimensión es más posible que esto.
Nunca lloré por un chico.
Pero...
Esta persona me hace querer llorar.
