How To Save A Heart
Prologue
Adrianna ran down the street, on her morning jog, her music pounding in her ears. Just a few more metres, she thought to herself, then I can go home. Just a few more metres. She ran towards her front door, and opened the door. She pulled her iPod out of the pocket of her sweatshirt, letting out a icy breath. It was the beginning of Winter, but it looked like it was already going to snow.
She stashed the iPod in her schoolbag, and followed the delicios smell of eggs and bacon to the kitchen. She caught sight of her father making breakfast. She smiled and kissed his cheek, pouring orange juice into a glass. She sat on the counter, watching him, she drank her juice, playing with her dark red curls. Her father eventually turned around and handed her a plate, she smiled at him ad walked to the kitchen table.
She sat down and ate, leaing about half of her food still on her plate.
'Thanks Dad.' She said, smiling.
'Your Welcome 'Riana.' He grinned at her, his dark red hair matching hers. She smiled and kissed his cheek, thinking to herself.
Back to my own personal hell. She walked into her room, sighing sadly to herself. She got dressed into a pair of dark skinny jeans and a light blue t-shirt, a red sweatshirt over the top. She walked downstairs, grabbing her bag and phone, and left for school, her father having already left for wrok. She bit her lip softly, before starting her walk.
Day One of torture, is about to begin.
