Chapter 23- All comes down to this!
“I want cotton candy!” I said as I pointed at the stand where the lady was selling cotton candy. “Then go get it,” Patch said following behind me. “Can I have one cotton candy?” I asked as she gave it to me smiling .
I looked at the stand with a doll that caught my eyes. "Patch look isn't that cute?" I asked as I got up and drag him there. I pointed at the dolphin plushie. "You have no money Violet" he mumbled. "No my mom gave me a emergency money!" I said as I pulled out a 50 dollar bill.
Patch twitched, "What the hell?" he said thinking about the ticket he had to spend on her. "It's 5 dollars for 3 shots" the worker smiled at me as I gave him 5 dollars. Patch smirked "Miss" I threw it and I missed. "Patch stop jinxing me you jerk!" I exclaimed.
2 minutes later...
" I give up!" I yelled I spend 30 dollars and I didn't even hit one bottle. "I'm going to the bathroom!" I said. Patch sighed, and went to his pocket and pulled out 5 dollars, " give me three shots."
"Oh my God thank you Patch!" I said after I went out the bathroom to see him throwing the stuff animal I wanted at me. "What ever I'm going to sit down" he mumbled as we went to the bench.
I sat on the bench. “Phew I’m beat how about you Patch?” I asked. He shrugs “Not really.” We stayed quiet for a while before I broke the silent, “You know there’s nothing wrong with staying the you are, you know as a Dhampir. “ I said. He looked at me as I continue,”To tell you the truth, I like you the way you are, Patch!” I said.
“Violet” he said as I looked at him. His face came closer to me and I knew he was about to kiss me. I could feel my face go red as he kissed him softly. I kissed him back while wrapping my hands around him and playing with the ends of his hair. Then I heard a SNAP and I looked to see Haine taking a picture while laughing with Daniel and Amu. I pushed Patch from the bench and said nothing. “It took you guys long enough! We’ll we’re going to the Ferris wheel and you better come we have two new couples! "Haine exclaimed happily.
The Ferris started soon and Violet was amazed. “It’s beautiful!” I exclaimed as Patch looked out also. Then the speaker started to play.

And the flashback starts

I looked around to find the music. Patch then got up. ‘Huh?’ I thought as he held out his hands. “Want to dance?” he had a nice smirk on his face. I looked at him and smiled and took his hands.
That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles
And my daddy said stay away from Juliet
And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you please don't go, and I said
I was about to trip when he held me and chuckled as I turned pink. But what surprised me was his chuckle. It wasn’t the usual one, it was another one that sounded nice a caring. He twirled me with his hands guiding me so I won’t mess up or fall.
Romeo save me, they try to tell me how to feel

The song ended and I laughed a bit as we got off. “Hey Patch, Violet want to see something cute?” Haine asked. I blinked, “What?” She took out her phone and showed us a picture of Amu and Daniel kissing. I laughed at that picture. I held Patch’s hand and smiled as we went out of the carnival. 'I wish I can stay like this' I thought.
