The Perfect Family Chapter 15
When I wake up, I'm laying in my bed, with a blanket over me, but Sam isn't there. I put on a brown blouse with white polka dots, ripped blue skinny jeans, a cross necklace, and flat sandals.
I grab my cellphone, and see a text from Sam.
Sam: Hi Babe, thanks for last night(; Bree is at my Mom's house, and Nick called to see if I could come over, so I'm there. I'll be home around 3. Love you.
Me: Kay, love you too.
I look at the clock by my bed. 9:12 am. I still have a while before he gets back.
I decide to go over to Mom's house, me and her haven't talked alone in a while.
I drive over there, to see that Tom is there. I thought they broke up?! I'm about to pull away when Mom comes out to get the mail. "Oh Ari! Hi baby girl! Come in!" she yells. I sigh and pray that this will be okay.
I get out of the car and am crushed into Mom's tight embrace. I hug her and pat her back gently. "Um, Mom, I thought you and Tom broke up..?" I mumble.
"Oh, that was before, this is now!" she yells and beams. I walk in the door and am greeted by Tom, standing in the middle of the kitchen, with that smug grin he always has.

The Perfect Family Chapter 13
"I'm fine Sam... Just some cuts." I reassure him while he's trying to get me to go to the hospital. He finally sighs in defeat. "Fine." he mutters dropping my arm. I walk to the bathroom and grab a washcloth, then start to clean up my foot. I wince when I touch it.

Once I finished cleaning up my foot, I wrapped it with gauze and went back to the kitchen where I see Sam and Bree eating their Mac and Cheese watching Dora. I chuckle and sneak up behind Sam and put my hands over his eyes. He jumps then laughs. "You okay?" he whispers. I nod. I take his hand. "Bree, mama and papa are going upstairs to clean up okay? Stay down here." I tell her. "Okay mama" she replies softly. I lead Sam upstairs and we get into our room and close the door.
He crashes his lips up against mine. He tries to get his tongue into my mouth and I open my mouth and let him in. We make out for a few minutes, until his hands find their way up my shirt. I moan a little bit as I feel the sparks where his soft fingers touch my skin. He pushes me back onto the bed and falls on top of me. "I love you Ari" he breathes in between kisses. He takes off his shirt and I take off mine, and then off go the pants.

The Perfect Family Chapter 12
We go back home and Sam starts packing while I cook dinner and Bree watches Dora.
"Vamanos mama!" she yells and I laugh. She then runs over to me and wraps her arms around my legs.
"What's for dinner mama?"
"Mac and cheese with tuna!" I reply.
"Yaaay! My favorite!" she squeals and hops back to the couch. I laugh and finish cooking. "SAAAAAAAAAAAAM, DINNER!!!!!!!" I scream and he comes running down. He nudges Bree out of the way and dashes to the table. "I'm STARVED!" he moans. I laugh.
"You're such a kid Sam." I inform him. He rolls his eyes and flicks me.
"Hey! Not something you want to do if you want food!" I scream and run away with his plate of food. He chases after me and Bree is sitting in her chair clapping and giggling like crazy.
He finally catches me and wraps his arms around my waist. I yelp in surprise and drop the plate on my foot. Of course, it breaks and the glass shatters across my foot. I scream in pain and crumple to the floor. "Ari!" he yells and cradles me in his arms.

The Perfect Family Chapter 12
"Oh... Ari... I-I'm sorry.." he studders. I laugh and hug him. "It's alright. Now, let me show you Charlie and I's messes!" I yell and grab his hand. I lead him to the hole in the wall.
"Charlie and I got into a fight about who would play with what Barbie doll, so she took a baseball and threw it at me, she had anger issues back then." I whisper and he laughs. "I dodged it, but the wall got a smack in the face!"
Then I lead him to my old room and show him the dent. "Charlie was jumping on the bed and the bed used to be against this wall and she jumped really high and landed really hard and it hit against the wall." I explain and he chuckles. Then I show him the stain on the carpet.
"This is for another time Charlie threw a baseball at me. I can't exactly remember what we were fighting about, but it hit me on the arm and broke my arm. That stain right there is blood that wouldn't come out of the carpet. Ever since then, my left arm has been a lot weaker than my right one, because I guess the bones healed a little bit out of place." I laugh at the memory. "My parents weren't too happy with Charlie after that, wouldn't let us hang out for a month." he laughs too. As all of the memories flood back to me, I'm thinking that I'm going to love it here. Bree will go to the same schools I went to, grow up in the same place, everything. I smile.

The Perfect Family Chapter 11
Ari's P.O.V.
Stop it Ari. Don't be a baby.
I am happy, I am, we have our own house now. As Sam and Bree are playing with eachother in the family room, I trudge up the stairs into the all-to familiar room. I brush my hand over all four lavender painted rooms, and give a weak smile. I crouch down by the window and run my fingers over the dent Charlie and I made in the wall when we were jumping on my bed. I laugh to myself and go to another room.
I sigh as I walk into this room, and walk around. The hole in the wall Charlie and I succesfully hid until we moved and my parents saw it.
"Ari?" Sam calls and I snap back into reality.
"Yeah, sorry babe, just... just looking around." I whisper.
"Ari, are you okay baby girl?" he asks me, wrapping his strong arms around me, already knowing the answer. I shake my head.
"Tell me hun." he says softly.
"Well, this is... this is where I used to live before Dad died..."

The Perfect Family Chapter 11
Sam's P.O.V.
*2 days later*
I bought the house.
You did? Really?
Yeah. It's a little farther away from yours. Right by the park.
"That's great sweety(: Tell me when you show her!
Ok. Bye.(:
I close my phone and put it in my pocket. Mom is the only one that knows now.
"ARRRRII! BREEEE! GET IN THE CAR!" I yell up the stairs to Ari and Bree, who were folding clothes.
"NOW?" Ari yells back.
"NOW!" I respond. I hear her get up and pick up Bree and then they come down the stairs. I strap in Bree and when Ari gets in the car, I hold up 2 blindfolds. Ari gives an exasperated sigh but puts it on. I put one on Bree and she asks "Where are we going Pa?"
"Well Breebear I can't tell you that that's why I put the blindfolds on! It's a surprise!" I answer and she says okay and hums the ABC song.
About 5 minutes later, we pull into the driveway. I get out and pick up Bree, then open Ari's door and take her hand, leading them to the yard so they can see the house clearly. "When I take your blindfold off, keep your eyes closed until I say, okay?" I whisper to Ari and she nods. I take hers off then take off Bree's. "Okay, open!" I yell.
"Papa who's house is this?" Bree asks. I look at Ari and a tear is slipping down her face. It looks like a mix between happy and sad.
"It's our house now honey" I whisper to Bree. She squeals and wriggles out of my arms and runs to the front door and tries to pull the knob. "Daddy open please!" she yells. I laugh and grab Ari's hand and run up to the door and use my key to open the door. Bree runs in and starts yelling because she figured out how it echoes. Me and Ari laugh at her and after a few minutes she runs back and hugs both of us.
"Now we can be a happy family with our own house Mama!" she squeals.
"Yeah Boo, we can now. Isn't that great?" she whispers.
"Yes Mama! Thank you Papa, thank you!" she yells and hugs us tighter and we all laugh.

The Perfect Family Chapter 10
Sam's P.O.V.
Turns out I just had to get a few stitches, the cuts weren't that deep. I left within a few hours, with stitches in my legs and a cast on my arm. Ari and I drive back to the church, where everyone still is. When we step in, everyone gathers around us and we explain what happened.
"You guys," Nick starts. "You still have to have your first dance as a couple!"
I look at Ari and she's looking at me nodding rapidly. We step to the middle of the dance floor and I put my arms around her waist and she puts hers around my neck. Then "Longer" by Dan Fogelberg comes on. I smile at Ari.
"This is our song" I whisper. She nods as we dance. We dance until the song is over and by that time everyone is on the dance floor. When the song is over, everyone is clapping and cheering for us. I feel so happy. I have a wife now, and she's the love of my life.

The Perfect Family Chapter 10
Sam's P.O.V.
"Anthony, what the hell?" I choke through clenched teeth.
"You stole my girl Sam, and now you'll pay, and I'll get her back." he snarls at me.
"You called her names, made fun of her, you hated her!" I scream.
"Shut up Johnson! Or this goes through your throat." he mumbles and I nod.
He starts muttering about how he hates me and how he loves Ari and when he gets her he's gonna... do things to her. I can tell he's obviously drunk. I sigh.
"So Sam, what was it like fuucking Ari? I never got the chance."
"Wh-what?"
"You heard me biitch. Answer me, or else!"
"I, um, well, I b-broke into her house, be-because these kids said if I didn't then they'd hurt my Mom..." I start.
"Yeah yeah yadda yadda I didn't ask why I asked what it was like!" he screams.
"Okay, well, it was good, just like normal.." I reply. He nods and then I hear sirens. Someone must have seen us.
Anthony looks towards the sirens then looks back at me. "You called didn't you?!" he yells.
"What? N-no! You've been on top of me the whole time! I couldn't have!" I quickly say.
He doesn't believe me and his face gets tomato red. "You're dead Johnson!" he screams and starts flinging the knife around. I kick him off me and he slashes my arm. "Ahhh!" I scream and knee him in the baalls and he stabs my leg and pulls the knife out right away. He does this repetedly about 7 times before running off. The police run to me just as he moves out of sight, where they see me laying on the ground. I point to where he went and a few rush that way as a few more come get me, and Ari rushes out in her wedding dress and screams and runs over to me.
"Sam! Sam, I'm so sorry, I should've followed when I saw you going with Anthony.. I'm sorry.." she screams and a female officer goes over to comfort her. She pushes her away and kneels down beside me and takes my hand.
"Sam... I'm really sorry..."
"Ari, it's fine. I'll be okay. I love you!"
"Love you too.." she replies and I'm pulled into an abulence, with my wife by my side.

"I now pronounce you, husband and--" the priest started to say, but it was too late, Sam already had his lips smashed against mine. He picks me up my the waist and spins me, and we both laugh. Ari runs over and I hug her and spin her, then I put her down and the priests grabs both Sam and I's hands and lifts them up. "Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce to you Mr. and Mrs. Johnson!" he yells and everyone starts to clap. I beam and look over at Sam who is grinning. A bunch of people come up to hug us. "Congrats baby girl" mom hugs me. "Thanks mom, I love you" I whisper back before being flooded by a ton more arms. Nick comes up and hugs me.
"Hey Nicky!" I greet him and hug him.
"Hey Ari, Anthony didn't say anything to you did he?" he asks. I shake my head. I see Sam watching us and I smile and wave at him as Anthony walks up to him. I poke Nick and point to them. Anthony hugs Sam and then he leads him outside. I look to Nick and he shrugs. "Should we follow them?" I ask. "Nah, if they're not back in 20 minutes we'll call them." he mumbles.
"Uncle Nick!" Bree screams and runs to him and he picks her up and hugs her. I laugh and push the worry out of my mind.
It's my wedding day. Nothing bad is going to happen.

The Perfect Family Chapter 8

I grab her around the waist and spin her while still hugging her, and her dress flows out around her. We're both laughing and Bree runs up and hugs both of us. Ari picks her up and spins her around. She puts her down and the priest takes both of our hands and holds them up. "Ladies and gentlemen! May I introduce to you, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson!" he yells and everyone claps. I've been smiling for so long that my cheeks hurt. Ari's Mom runs up and hugs her, and my mom to me. "Congrats hun" Mom whispers in my ear. "Thanks mom" I say and then Ari's Mom comes over to me and hugs me and my mom to Ari.
After a bunch of relatives, Nick comes up and hugs me, then Ari. He whispers something in Ari's ear and she shakes her head and whispers something back. I don't get the time to wonder what they're saying because Anthony walks up to me. "Hey bro, let's go get some celebratory food!" he whispers in my ear. I get suspicious, but shrug it off and follow him. He leads me through a backstreet which he says is a shortcut. I nod and follow him more. We talk about school, Ari, Bree, Nick, Anthony in jail. I don't even realize it when he pulls the knife out of his pocket, until he flips me over and has the knife to my neck.

She laughs and I smile.
The priest starts to read.
After a couple minutes, he gets to:
"Ari, do you take Sam as thy wedded husband, to live together after God's ordinance in the holy estate of Matrimony? Will you love him, comfort him, honor him, and keep him in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, keep thee only unto him, so long as you both shall live?" Ari says "I will" I grin and wink at her.
"Sam, do you take Ariana as thy wedded wife, to live together after God's ordinance in the holy estate of Matrimony? Will you love her, comfort her, honor her, and keep her in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, keep thee only unto her, so long as you both shall live?" "I will" I reply.
"Please take these rings and place them on eachothers fingers."
I take Ari's hand and slip the ring onto her finger, and she does the same for me.
"Does anyone have an objection to refrain these two to become married? Speak now, or forever hold your peace." Silence.
The priest chuckles. "Well then, Ariana Clark and Samuel Johnson, you shall now become united together as one, to stay together between sickness and health, and to love eachother and only eachother. Samuel, do you accept this commitment?" "I do" I reply immediatly.
"Ariana, do you accept this commitment?"
I look at Ari, and it looks as if she is trying to decide... I get nervous for a minute, then our eyes meet. I wink at her and give her the smile that I know she loves. She takes in a deep breath, clears her throat, and as a few tears slide down her face, the only sound in the room is of her saying
"I do."

The Perfect Family Chapter 6
Bree lets go of Charlie's hand and grabs a few petals and scatters them on the ground. I smile and wink at her and she attemps to do the same, but blinks instead. I chuckle as she gets frusterated and dumps the whole basket on the ground, then smiles and runs up towards me, causing laughter from the crowd. Charlie rushes up to her and they take their places next to where Ari will be standing. I close my eyes as a few other bridesmaids come out, then the Here Comes the Bride song comes on. I draw in a deep breath and hear Bree whisper "Mama looks really pretty Dada, look!" I imimediatly open my eyes and turn to see Ari with her arm linked with her Mom's, walking down the isle towards me. I grin and she grins back. I look at her. I take a really good look at her. Her flowing white dress is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen on her. Her hair is perfect. Everything about her is pefect. I see Anthony gawking at her from the corner of my eye. I smirk. This is what you're missing, I think to myself. When I look back, Ari is standing across from me. You know sometimes, when someone smiles, their whole face lights up, and it makes anything about any situation feel less bad, or at least seem happier? That's what I felt as I saw Ari smile right now. Pure joy in everything around us.
Suddenly, I get an idea. I lean towards her and whisper so only she can hear.
"So, let's do it?"

The Perfect Family Chapter 5
Sam's P.O.V.
"Calm down bro, everything will be fine." Matt informs me. I nod. Everyone thinks I'm nervous. I am, but not as much nervous as excited. I'm finally getting married to the girl I love. The girl who is the mother to my child. I can't wait. I only wish Dad could be here...
No, snap out of it Sam. Don't think about that, not right now.
I fix my tux and look at my watch. 11:45. People are probably out there already. Nick slaps me on the back, and says a quick "good luck" before walking out. Matt does the same thing but we bro-hug instead. "You'll do fine man, no worries!" he assures me, then dissapears.
I take a deep breath, fix my tuxedo for the last time, make sure my vows are in my pocket, and slip out the door to the awaiting crowd.

After about 5 minutes, everyone is seated. I scan the crowd and spot Anthony, remembering Ari invited him. He catches my eye, shoots me a sincere smile and a thumbs up. He mouths I'm sorry and I nod and smile back, and then the music starts playing and I see Bree. In her left hand is Charlie's hand and in her right hand is a basket of flower petals.

The Perfect Family Chapter 4
I wake up screaming and crying and I'm sweaty, with Charlie standing over me.
"Shh, it's okay baby girl, tell me what happened." she soothes. I tell her all about my dream.
"I wish here was here." I whisper softly.
"I know honey, I miss him too." she mutters. After some ice cream, we fall back asleep, and I drift off into a peacful sleep, with thoughts of my soon to be husband and my beautiful daughter and my perfect wedding in my head.

I'm awoken to Mom, Charlie and Bree all screaming. "WAKE UP, WAKE UP, WAKE UP!" they scream.
"Wake up Momma wake up!" Bree squeals and jumps on my bed. I laugh.
"I'm up, I'm up!" I exclaim and grab Bree and start to tickle her.
"How's my little flower girl doing this morning?" I whisper in Bree's ear. She giggles and does a thumbs up that Sam and I have been teaching her.
"Come on come on get a move on! We have to go to the Salon and get our hair done and mani-pedi's!" Mom exclaims and I stand up, and run to slip something easy on. Once we're all dressed, we eat some toast and rush to the salon.
When I step in, everyone starts to cheer and whoop. I smile and sit down in a chair while the hair stylist makes perfection with my usually messy hair, and they give us all mani-pedi's including Bree, which she was very happy about.
"Thanks for everything everyone! See you all there!" I yell as we walk out of the salon with our freshly painted nails and styled hair. We get to the house and they all slip on their dresses, and finally there's me. I go to my room, and stare at myself in the full length mirror. I can't believe how beautiful they made me... I slip on my gorgeous dress, and examine myself once again. A tear runs down my face as I put on the bracelet Dad gave me when I was 7, and when I put the pearl necklace on that Grandma gave me when I was 6, then look down at the engagement ring on my finger, anxious to add on a wedding ring.

The Perfect Family Chapter 3
I'm standing there, right next to him, holding his hand tight. I'm 8 years old.
"Daddy?" I whisper softly.
"Yes Princess?" he mumbles back.
"Are you ever going to get home and get better?"
"I don't know yet honey, I sure hope so."
We were talking for a few minutes, about when I was littler.
He suddenly inhaled a deep, hard breath, then stopped talking.
"Daddy? Daddy!" I yell at him. "Answer me Daddy!" I cry.
"Ari? Ari baby, it's okay. Promise me one thing Ari, okay?" he mutters weakly.
"Okay Daddy."
"Always remember me. Remember the fun we had. Remember when I was happy, when we were happy. Don't remember me like this, okay? If you keep me in your heart, and you'll always remember, I'll always be with you." he says, patting my chest where my heart was with his palm. I nod.
"Okay Daddy, I will, I promise."
"I love you baby girl, I always will. Please remember. I love you." he weakly murmurs and puts his hand on my cheek. I put my hand over his, squeezing it like we used to do. He squeezes back, for the last time.
"I love you Aribear."
"I love you too Daddy, with all my heart." I slowly whisper as his hand falls back onto his chest, and the machine stops beeping.

The Perfect Family Chapter 2
Ari's P.O.V.
Tomorrow's the day. Tomorrow's the day. The day I'm going to get married to the love of my life, my best friend. I'm excited beyond explanation. Tonight, Charlie and I are sleeping at my Mom's house in the basement, and Bree is sleeping upstairs in the guest room. Matt came over for a few hours and him and I were practicing the dance we were going to do at the reception, him in place of my Dad. Matt's like a brother to me now. We're all talking and laughing, and at around midnight, Matt leaves and goes back to our place with Sam. I put Bree to bed in the guest room at around 12:15 and then Charlie and I go downstairs to the basement to set up our beds. Charlie helps me perfect my vows, and and we both cry a little. Then, finally at about 2, after talking and laughing about old memories, we settle in to sleep. I was tossing and turning until around 3:30, when I finally drifted into that same, peacful sleep, until I suddenly have a dream that I haven't had in a very, very long time.

Anthony's P.O.V.
*6 months before*
A fancy looking card arrives in the mail. It's addressed to me, but there's no return address. I peel away the envelope, and see Ari and Sam's faces on the outside of the card. I scowl and open it.
Dear Anthony,
It would be our pleasure for you to come to see these two people; Ariana Clark and Samuel Johnson; become united in the name of the Lord.
When; May 5th, 2012
Where; St. Luthren's Church
Time; noon will be the ceremony, reception afterwards.
We would be delighted if you can make it.
I scowled and snapped the letter shut. I'm going to this wedding, I thought. Hey, who's fault is it?
They invited me.

Chapter 50
We're laughing so much that my stomach hurts. "Okay, I think that's enough." Nick mutters.
"YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN YOUR FACE!" Sam screams.
"Ha ha very funny bro. Stop." he warns and playfulls punches Sam's shoulder. Right on cue, Bree starts to cry.
"I better go get her." I say and trudge up the stairs. "Hello Bree!" I coo and she giggles and reaches her pudgy hands up towards me. I grab her, kiss her cheek, and walk down the stairs.
"Well hello Miss Breetiful!" Sam exclaims in his baby voice. Breetiful is another nickname he has for her. He has so many I lost track! I notice Nick sitting awkwardly on the couch, so I take Bree over to him and set her on his lap.
"Bree," Sam starts. "Meet your Uncle Nick!" I laugh and glance at Nick, who is smiling happily. I call Charlie, Matt, Sam's Mom, and my Mom. I haven't seen her in a while... I wonder how she's doing... I invite them all over for dinner. When my Mom gets here, we stare at eachother for a minute, then I run to her and fling my arms around her. Once everyone gets here, we all have a taco and salad buffet. We're all talking and laughing and having a great time, when I hear Bree mutter something from beside me. "What did you say Breetiful?" Sam cooes. Bree coughs and says with confidence;
"Family!"
