The Perfect Family Chapter

"Oh... Ari...
I-I'm sorry.." he studders. I laugh and hug him.
"It's alright. Now, let me show you Charlie and I's
messes!" I yell and grab his hand. I lead him to the hole in
the wall.
"Charlie and I got into a fight about who would play with
what Barbie doll, so she took a baseball and threw it at me, she
had anger issues back then." I whisper and he laughs.
"I dodged it, but the wall got a smack in the
face!"
Then I lead him to my old room and show him the dent.
"Charlie was jumping on the bed and the bed used to be
against this wall and she jumped really high and landed really
hard and it hit against the wall." I explain and he
chuckles. Then I show him the stain on the carpet.
"This is for another time Charlie threw a baseball at me. I
can't exactly remember what we were fighting about, but it
hit me on the arm and broke my arm. That stain right there is
blood that wouldn't come out of the carpet. Ever since then,
my left arm has been a lot weaker than my right one, because I
guess the bones healed a little bit out of place." I laugh
at the memory. "My parents weren't too happy with
Charlie after that, wouldn't let us hang out for a
month." he laughs too. As all of the memories flood back to
me, I'm thinking that I'm going to love it here. Bree
will go to the same schools I went to, grow up in the same place,
everything. I smile.
