Every day she walks along,
s i n g i n g the same song.
She [[watches]] the seasons
change. The leaves, changing
color. Her hands in her pockets,
keeping her feet close together.
She keeps her head down and
only s h o w s a frown. Watching
people pass [by]. Time speeding up,
but hers slowing down; c h a s i n g
what she can’t seem to catch up to.
She's running, but she feels as if
she can’t move. Chills run down
her back as she watches her future
pass by. She c l i n g s on to what she
can't have; crying out to get it back.
What made her complete, is gone.
Tears fall from her eyes to the ground.
All she had disappeared right before
her & now, she can’t take it back.
I guess her memories are the only
thing best for her.
